Middle Village is a mainly residential neighborhood in the central section of the borough of Queens, New York City, bounded to the north by the Long Island Expressway, to the east by Woodhaven Boulevard, to the south by Cooper Avenue and the Montauk Branch railroad tracks, and to the west by Mount Olivet Cemetery. A small trapezoid-shaped area bounded by Mt. Olivet Crescent to the east, Fresh Pond Road to the west, Eliot Avenue to the north, and Metropolitan Avenue to the south, is often counted as part of Middle Village but is sometimes considered part of nearby Ridgewood.
Middle Village is bordered by the neighborhoods of Elmhurst to the north, Maspeth and Ridgewood to the west, Glendale to the south, and Rego Park to the east. Housing in the neighborhood is largely single-family homes with many attached homes, and small apartment buildings.
Middle Village is located in Queens Community District 5 and its ZIP Code is 11379. It is patrolled by the New York City Police Department's 104th Precinct. Politically, Middle Village is represented by the New York City Council's 29th and 30th Districts.

Walk With Us Inside Rego Park’s New IKEA, Queens | Walking NYC, New York
Hej, the smallest IKEA store ever has just arrived! On Saturday 1/16/21, we visited the newly-opened mini IKEA in the Rego Center shopping mall. This store is the first in the U.S. with a smaller format, offering a full range of products across 115,000 sq. ft. of space. Through inspiring room sets and digital tools focused on sustainable, small-space living solutions, the Queens store is built for the unique lifestyle of New Yorkers. It’s an open floor plan, which was something we weren’t used to since we usually go to the Long Island IKEA location. In this video, we walk through quite a few showrooms and showcase some cool things IKEA sells. You aren't able to buy the bigger items on the spot - you place an order and have to pay a shipping fee to get the items shipped to your house. However, the IKEA does sell a lot of smaller items to bring home - we saw stuff like $3 pans and a whole array of artificial plants. The food court area isn't open yet, but you can order those delicious Swedish meatballs to go. Hejdå!
