In one day in old Delhi, India, we had 7 delicious street foods all made in the halal style.

We started out the day with an AMAZING ramadan experience at the largest Mosque in Delhi, Jama Masjid. We picked up a ton of different Indian street foods to bring to the mosque and break the fast with all the locals. We shared the delicious food, and then went back to the streets of Old Delhi to try more food.

The first food we had on our street food tour was the Delhi Fried Chicken, DFC, covered in Indian spices like masala and mustard. It was extremely JUICY and PLUMP!!!

Afterwards, we tried more BBQ chicken and then went for a nice Indian dinner cooked by one of the locals in Old Delhi. His family recipes were passed down to him and his food was legendary! We ate Indian Chicken Biryani and chicken korma curry along with Buffalo Korma along with Kameeri Roti! It was absolutely delicious!

After this, we went to the LEGENDARY Changezi chicken joint that invented the recipe for this juicy and flavour packed chicken curry dish!

To finish of the day, we went for some delicious BBQ Seekh Kebabs, extremely flavourful!!

The addresses for these street food restaurants in Old Delhi, India, are found on the main street below Jama Masjid, Old Delhi, India.

Flavours of PESHAWAR in WEST DELHI I Pure Non Veg Food Tour - Liver Daana, Chicken in Brain Curry

► Subscribe to Anubhav Sapra:

Timecodes:

0:00 Introduction
0:59 New Khalsa Restaurant
6:41 Kohli's Dhaba
14:09 Pul Bangash Wale
19:15 Channi Pishori Chicken
24:24 Dolphins
30:55 Best Paan Shop

Today's episode is all about a short yet gluttonous non veg tour across some neighbourhoods of West Delhi, along with our host cum fellow culinary storyteller Rajesh Tara who is a resident from one of those localities. Although we have previously eaten in these areas, today's food tour introduces us to some of Rajesh Ji's favourite eateries. Since most of the residents in these areas were partition refugees, incidentally this food tour turned out to be a scrumptious experience revolving around the flavours of Peshawar which was the part of North Western Frontier Province. Let's take you through the details.

The first stop was New Khalsa Restaurant near Hotel Palace, Mayapuri Phase 2. Here we met the young owner Tajinder who talked us through this famous joint that has evolved from a humble food cart started by his grandfather. Here we tried some liver dana, tawa chicken with bheja and mutton burra. Glossy, bite size skewer-grilled piece of mutton liver wrapped in a layer of fat, liver dana was nothing less than a piece of art. Tawa chicken with brain was a rich and spicy curry made of minced mutton, goat's brain and half cooked chicken pieces whose umami flavours and moist and thick texture was mind blowing. Mutton burra too was tender, succulent, smoky and flavourful.

The second stop was Kohli Dhaba, a legendary non veg eatery on Jail Road which has a huge loyal fan base including Rajesh Ji. Although they have an eclectic menu revolving around chicken, fish and paneer, Rajesh Ji's all time favourite is the tawa chicken masala which is a rich, tangy and spicy chicken curry that is prepared in a huge griddle with lots of onion, garlic, spices, butter, milk etc. While speaking to the owner we got to know that this business was started by his father in 1965 with a limited menu and was expanded by him. The outdoor sitting space gives you a feel of dhaba in a busy and glittering locality. We thoroughly enjoyed it with tandoori roti and hari chutney mixed onion rings.

The third stop was Pul Bangash Wale. It is a small non veg takeaway shop sandwiched between some iconic ones but the crowd circling the tandoor in the front at any point of time gives you an idea of its huge popularity. The family that runs it are from Pul Bangash in Delhi 6 where one of their relatives runs a famous fish fry shop. Here they have a tempting menu of mostly appetizers. Here we tried the fish finger, egg pakoda and chicken malai tikka of which the first two are a crowd favorite. With a thin gram flour coating, the boiled egg pakoda was a fun convenient snack. Fish finger made of sol fish was juicy inside and crusty outside. Lastly the chicken malai tikka had a smooth, buttery, slightly smoky and meaty mouthfeel.

The fourth stop was Channi Pishori Chicken in Vikaspuri. It is a takeaway place popular for their tandoori and gravy items and rolls. Here we met the young owner who turned out to be a happy follower of our channel and an admirer of Anubhav. This place originally belonged to his father in law and was passed on to him as he didn't have any son to look after it. With immense joy he served us some chicken kebab roll, chicken seekh kebab and chicken malai tikka. The first one was a succulent and hearty wrap made of just a seekh kabab and rumali roti. Chicken sheekh kebab was cut into small pieces and tossed in butter and cream. The last one was quite similar to chicken seekh kebab except that it had tandoori chicken pieces in it. The last two dishes were delicious yet a little dry. One of their specialties is the mayo and cream tossed onion rings that accompany these appetizers.

The fifth and final stop was Dolphins which is another old establishment over here. Rajesh ji is very fond their butter chicken, stuffed tangdi and few other stuffs so inspite of a nearly full tummy we accompanied him there. we ordered kalmi kebab, tandoori chicken, tangdi kebab, butter chicken and reshmi kebab among which our favourites were the butter chicken and tandoori chicken. The former ticked all the boxes of a perfect butter chicken.

Finally we ended the tour with some meetha paan from Best Paan Shop.

Clean and Tasty Indian Street Food in Delhi ????????

I visited the INA Market area of Delhi to try a very popular street food there called 'Dahi ke Sholay.' It's fried bread rolls, stuffed with curd / yoghurt and cheese.

I had been recommended this place by many Delhi locals and after trying this desi snack, I'm happy to say that it lives up to the hype. A must try if you're visiting Delhi, and at only 40 rupees (£0.38 GBP / $0.48 USD) why not?

Those of you who have been watching my videos for a few years may recognise the area where I was eating the Dahi ke Sholay. Right behind me was the juice shop where a rickshaw wala was pestering me in a previous vlog (

I remembered that in that vlog I'd eaten a delicious bowl of sambar vada up the street, so I went searching for that shop. Fortunately the sambar vada wala was still there, albeit with higher prices. Inflation is real.

Sambar is a spicy Indian vegetable broth and vada is a savoury kind of donut made with lentils, originating from South India. That combination are perfect together, as the sambar soaks into the vada perfectly and it feels like nice warm, spicy comfort food. Yum yum!

Next door to the Sambar Vada Wala was a legal documents office, and the owner, Mr Shlok, gave me a suggestion for some more street food. I told him that I would visit Lajpat Nagar Market and he said there's a famous shop there called Dolma Auntie Momos. Then he offered to drive me there in his car.

There was a bit of confusion when we got to the Najpat Nagar bazar, as there were multiple shops called 'Dolma Auntie Momos'. We tried to find the original and authentic one, which we eventually discovered was down a lane, not on the main road. But the staff there told us that the other Dolma Auntie shops were also owned by the same people, and were branches and not fake versions of the shop.

The momos were cheap and tasty. Would definitely recommend them.

While in the market, we went hunting to find me a Delhi Capitals cricket jersey, but to no avail. Who would have thought it would be so difficult to find a cricket jersey in India?

Instead, I bought a nice hoodie after some hard bargaining with the vendor.

And I celebrated that bargaining victory with a fresh vegetable juice. Fresh juice is always readily available and cheap in Indian cities.

I finished off the afternoon foodie adventure with an Indian mouth cleanser known as paan. We visited a famous paan vendor called Prince Paan in the Greater Kailash area of Delhi, who had some interesting variations of paan.

As the afternoon came to an end, the rush hour traffic began, and it was going to be difficult for me to get back to my hotel by car. So I opted to call a motorbike via Uber, to get through the traffic a bit easier.

After relaxing in my hotel, I went back out to meat Shlok and his girlfriend for dinner. We visited Yashwant Place which is a casual semi-outdoor eating area with lots of small restaurants. Most seem to be focused on Chinese food and North Indian food.

We visited Shlok's favourite restaurant there and enjoyed a good feast, followed by chocolate cake to celebrate his girlfriend's birthday.

Best Agra Non Veg Food Tour l Famous Mama Frankie + Chicken Nahari + Keema Kaleji Gurda + Fish Tikka

Agra is known for its historic legacy, diverse culture, beautiful buildings and yummy food. Its culinary scene includes lots of options starting from typical north Indian dishes to tasty Mughlai cuisine. In today's episode, we will take you on a non veg food tour featuring some top non-veg spots in the city to find out what makes them stand out.

Our first stop was at Pape Di Hatti, meaning 'father's shop.' This establishment boasts of a heritage of around 70 years. Its ambiance echoes that of a traditional dhaba. They specialize in authentic meat dishes, most of these delicacies are masterfully crafted by the owner’s father. We relished crispy tandoori roti paired with their renowned keema kaleji and gurda. The rich, slow cooked dish cooked with a medley of spices was one of the most tasty keema kaleji we've had in recent memory.

Second destination was Mama Franky, a celebrated landmark on Agra's non-vegetarian culinary map. During a brief conversation with Mama, the founder of this iconic spot, we learned the fascinating tale behind Mama Franky's inception. It began with him arriving in Agra from Kolkata, accompanied by his sister and setting up a modest stall selling Kolkata-style rolls. Over time, this humble stall has grown into the legendary establishment that stands today.

Their signature creation, the 'Franky,' evolved from the original Kolkata roll, featuring an all-purpose flour wrap generously packed with either delectable vegetable or chicken fillings. Our experience with the chicken roll was nothing short of delightful. It was succulent, flavourful and totally yummy.

Our third stop was at Sapna Bar Be Que, a stall predominantly renowned for its grilled offerings. Engaging in a brief conversation with the amiable owner, we delved into the origins of this establishment. Then we opted to sample their fish tikka.

The dish comprised boneless fish pieces lightly coated with few spices and expertly grilled on skewers till done. Notably, the absence of an overwhelming marinade allowed the true essence of the fish to shine through. A dash of lime lent a refreshing tang complementing the smoky, grilled chunks perfectly.

Our final stop was the Aleem Family Restaurant, a distinguished Mughlai dining establishment. Welcomed by the owner, we settled in to relish their offerings, which included chicken seekh kebab, chicken nihari, and tandoori roti. They have an extensive menu but we were particularly intrigued by their chicken nihari as it is an uncommon thing.

The chicken nihari encompassed all the essential traits of a commendable nihari. The kebabs, robust and delicately seasoned, provided a meaty indulgence. Overall, the meal was thoroughly enjoyable, offering both quality and affordability.
We ended our food tour with Banarasi Paan Bhandar's meetha pan.

LUCKNOW Non Vegetarian FOOD Tour - Kulcha Nahari + BEST Kebabs - Ghutwa, Galawti, Shami + Biryani

► Subscribe to Delhi Food Walks:

Lucknow is renowned for its scrumptious and flamboyant non vegetarian food culture that includes toothsome meat delicacies extolled for their phenomenal flavours and texture. Come let's see what all non veg street food dishes did we try during our visit to the city.

First Stop- Sharma Tea Stall
A great start to the day has to be with a cup of hot tea. At Sharma Tea Stall we got our cuppas with very typical tea snacks- bun butter and samosa. The samosa you get here are quite different; the stuffing is not of the usual cubed skin-on potatoes but instead the potatoes are boiled, mashed and cooked in a concoction of unique spices.

Second Stop- Rahim ki Nahari
Here we tried the combination of Kulcha with Nahari. The Kulcha is made of two layers which makes it the perfect vessel to eat a gravy dish like nahari. We also got taste some Biryani here. These are one of the few things that you have to try when you’re in Lucknow.

Third Stop- Tunday Kababi
We went to the first and original Tunday Kababi for the galawati kabab and sheermal. Galawati Kababs are a specialty of Lucknow. They are made with minced meat and a variety of different spices. The minced meat is shaped into small discs and cooked over a low heat from coals. The sheermal is a special bread and goes perfectly well with the spicy kababs. Sheermal is made with flour, milk, saffron, sugar and ghee; it is the slight sweetness of this bread which makes it so delicious.

Fourth Stop- Roti wali gali
We visited a street full of roti/chapati sellers. Here there are people selling different varieties of breads that are very popular in the region. Sheermal, Ulte Tawe ka Paratha, different types of Naan, etc. One can find any and everything in this little street.

Fifth Stop- Al Madina Kashmiri Chai
Here we had a different kind of dessert called kashmiri chai. It consists of Fan which is basically puff pastry also known as samosa on the area, some cream and a pink tea. It has a very soothing and warm texture.

Sixth Stop- Azhar Bhai ka Paan
Some of the most interesting names of paans and even more interesting conversation. This shop is famous for serving the tastiest paans. For them paan is not just a digestive to be eaten, it is an institution.

Seventh Stop- Lalla ki Biryani
The ultimate Biryani experience, where the meat just melts of the bone and the rice is super flavourful. They have been making biryani for the past 34 years and no wonder, they have perfected the process. Although this shop may be known for its biryani but the shammi kababs they serve here are out of this world.

Eighth Stop- Naushijaan
Yes!! Kabab Heaven, we found kabab heaven! This place is known for their variety of kababs and trust us all of them are worth trying out. The Kakori Kabab you get are shaped like a seekh but are much softer. In fact they’re so soft that they vanish the moment you put it in the mouth. The Ghutwa Kabab was something new. It is made with minced meat that is cooked with a number of spices for very long, quite similar to the cooking process of haleem. This is usually eaten with either sheermal or khameri roti. The seekh pasanda kabab is slightly chewy compared to all the other kababs.

Ninth Stop- Sakhawat’s
Established in 1911, known for its outstanding galawati and kakori kababs. We even got to try the biryani here, which was quite different compared to the ones we had tried earlier. Everything that we tasted was supremely tasty.

Tenth Stop- Wahid Biryani
For a change, we tried chicken biryani and weren’t disappointed at all. The biryani is flavourful and aromatic that you feel like you have actually gone back in time and are feasting with the Nawabs of Awadh.

Eleventh Stop- Prakash Kulfi Shop
The Kulfi is made in the traditional way in small steel tins in which the ingredients that are first boiled are then filled into the tins and then they are frozen in a large container full of ice. Our journey in Lucknow ended with this beautiful Kulfi.

Unseen DARYAGANJ Non Veg FOOD Walk in Old Delhi I Sajji Chicken + Munna Bhai Shahtoot Masale Wale

With the festival of Eid round the corner, we recently undertook a food tour across Daryaganj to explore the gastronomic scene of old locality. There is no dearth of eateries over here and it's relatively less crowded compared to the food hub near Jama Masjid. Furthermore, we were surprised to come across some uncommon food items.

The first stop was RK Caterers in Kucha chelan. Locals are huge fan of their fried snacks and kheer, the two major components of Iftari. We bought peas samosa, chicken samosa, chow mein samosa and malai paneer samosa and headed to Mohd. Rafi's Shan E Dilli Shop for Iftar.

After breaking the fast with four different types of samosa we went on to taste Shan E Dilli's famous Sajji chicken. Alsonthete were chicken tangdi, butter chicken and chicken tikka. Their signature dish was essentially a special spice mix coated perfectly grilled chicken. The first bote is dominated by the taste of spices and lemon. But eventually you get a flavourful meaty taste.

From there we once again went back to R. K Caterers to meet owner Khurshid Ji who was super busy a while ago. The conversation reflected his earnest passion In his profession. Here we came across their tooth some kheer abr a special chutney

From there we reached Munna BHAI'S fruits and tasty treat shop. Munna bhai has been bringing smiles to the locals with fruit chaat made of just two ingredients - bhura and a special chaat masala. He was super genial and totally enthusiastic about his things. One by one he tasted all the items ranging from mulberry to tamarind. The special spice mix was phenomenal. No wonder it is one of the hidden gems of Daryaganj.

After this we stopped by Nagori Tea stall for some strongly brewed tea. This is a famous brand from Mumbai and their tea was really good.

Next we reached Changezi Chicken Restaurant to savour the dish by the same name. It consists of grilled chicken tossed in a tangy spice laden graby. The name might bring in warrior like connotation but it's background has no such association. It was quite tasty.

Soon after we checked into the adjacent Zaika shop for their korma and seekh kabab. On their recommended, instead of the plain korma we opted for shahi korma but it turned out to be a disappointed. The overuse of cream and butter had overpowered the tatse of the masala. Kebab was absolutely Amazing because of the tatse and the texture.

Our penultimate stop for the day was Jahangeer foods which is one of the handful of eateries serving chicken nihari.
The stew was really flavourful and the chicken pieces soft and juicy.

Finally we wrapped up the tour with some fried chicken from Fry shop and paan.

Overall we can say that if you want to experience old delhi food at a calmer setting then this is the locality to explore.

INCREDIBLE INDIAN STREET FOOD TOUR | Old Delhi's Best Street Food

✈️ We created an app to help you save up to 80% on international flights! Try it risk free ➡️ ⬅️

Food tours are our favorite things to do in new countries, and India is no different. Our new local friend Anubhav from Delhi Food Walks took us around to the BEST Indian street food spots in town! If you go to Delhi, you MUST go on this food tour!

This was actually a breakfast food walk, so we tried many traditional Indian breakfast foods for the first time. We stopped at 10 different places and ate Bedmi Poori with a spicy aloo sabzi and potato curry, suji halwa, sumptuous Nahari cooked overnight, Paaye or goat trotters (GOAT FEET), traditional masala chai, and SO much more!!!

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

Indian Street Food - KING of CHICKEN TIKKA!! | Best North Indian Restaurants in Bangkok!!

???? South Indian Food Tour in Bangkok:
???? SUBSCRIBE: Don’t miss new food videos!

BANGKOK, THAILAND - Today we’re going on a tour to eat the best North Indian food, especially Punjab food, in Bangkok, Thailand. We’re going to eat everything from street food in Pahurat to Indian fine dining. Get ready for an ultimate Indian food experience in Bangkok, Thailand!

We’re starting this tour in Pahurat, which is known as Bangkok’s Little India. Surrounding the main Siri Guru Singh Sabha Sikh Temple, you’ll find narrow alleys and lanes with lots of street food and hole in the wall restaurants.

Punjab Sweets ( - Just down the alley outside of India Emporium is Punjab Sweets a 30 year shop selling sweets and Indian food - especially dishes like chole bhatura. It’s a great place to hang out for a morning tea and their chole bhatura is the real highlight. The owner was also really nice and gave us a place of their famous sweets to try. Prices - 100 - 150 THB ($2.99 - $4.48)

Just outside Punjab Sweets is a great stall to try Paan - 10 THB ($0.30)

Samosa Corner ( - I believe it’s one of the only samosa street food stalls in Bangkok that’s been serving delicious samosas and pakoras for 45 years. You don’t want to miss it when you’re in Pahurat. Price - 70 THB ($2.09) for 5

Amritsr ( - Next up on this North Indian food tour in Bangkok we went to Amritsr, specializing in Punjabi cuisine, especially Amritsari dishes. This is the type of restaurant where you’ll find a huge menu of dishes, and you can’t really go wrong. They have a huge section of dishes cooked in the tandoor, and my favorite was the achari tikka, one of the greatest ever. They also have the entire range of North Indian thick and rich curry’s. Highly recommended for some of the best North Indian restaurants in Bangkok. Prices - 200 - 400 THB ($5.97 - $11.95) per dish

Punjab Grill ( - Finally to complete this North Indian food tour in Bangkok, we went to Punjab Grill, a contemporary North Indian restaurant that serves authentic and modern dishes. Their lamb dishes are particularly delicious and I also loved their incredible tandoori prawns. You can order a la carte, and they also offer a tasting menu, as a fine dining experience, and a buffet brunch on Sundays. Prices - 400 - 800 THB ($11.95 - $23.89) per dish

It was an amazing time eating through Bangkok, at some of the best North Indian restaurants!
