After the days at the beach it was great to arrive in the hustling and bustling city of Medellin which as so much to offer. Things to do in Medellin range from free tours over parks and excursions to the transformed poorer neighborhoods to nightlife and tours to see the impressive panorama from El Penol.
From the city center to recommendable food places this video is meant to also help you find your way around and plan your stay in Medellin. All my tips can also be found on my website, this includes sights as well as restaurants and hotels in Medellin.

— About Exploring Colombia —
Colombia, a country which many only know because of it’s violent past, has been on my list since I went to South America for my first long-term trip in 2012. 6 Years later and with 5 weeks to spend it was finally time to properly explore my country number 9 on the continent.
For the first part of the trip I’ll be traveling with my mate David to the historical city of Cartagena, some picturesque Carribean islands and to the city of Medellin where we get to learn about the violent past and the transformation of the country. After a few days in the capital Bogota I’ll be joined by my good friend Stefan to learn salsa and take on some outdoor adventures in Cali before heading up to Santa Marta where we checkout the most beautiful beaches, float down rivers and hike through the mountains.

Not many foreigners in Sabaneta, so when you come you stand out like a sore thumb. Ladies love our accent, the food is delicious and super cheap. I spent 6 months out here and it has positives & negatives. Today we doing some shopping & girl hunting... lol. Let's see if Allen still got it.. LMAO!
Sabaneta Medellin Colombia is the Suburbs of Medellin about 30min away.
You will find lots of NORMAL HOT WOMEN in Sabaneta NOT like lleras park full of escorts!
Sabaneta Envigado are very similar but Envigado is closer and more expensive area in my opinion.
Lleras parque is just full of escorts and chicks looking for money. Waste of time if your looking for a GF.

Medellin known for the Colombians as the city of the eternal Spring, where as soon as you arrive you can feel the warn welcome of the paisa people.
The weather is amazing , the food is fantastic and the city is super easy to get around, making it one of the most visited cities for nomads, expats, and tourist in general. something that you should not forget is the value of the money, here the dollar goes a long way.

➡️ Where I'll try interesting street food, including Papa Rellena and buñuelo, which are quite tasty.
➡️We'll take the metro to San Antonio station then to Sabaneta where we'll explore the surrounding areas. I stop at Parque Sabaneta where we'll see some beautiful fruit and try some local street food.
➡️ I continue on to visit Iglesia de Santa Ana. The church in the park that draws more than 1000 people every Tuesday.
➡️One street is closed and full of Toyota Landcruisers, some that were never available in the USA!
I finish off my day exploring the busy streets of Medellin and seeing everything they have to offer.

Some of the people in Medellin like this area the best. After I made the video of this park I walked to a shopping mall called Mayorca Mega Plaza. I took some video in the mall that I will show in a future video.

1 month Sabaneta Colombia neighborhood review
Overview of the neighborhood I called home for the month of September. I forgot to mention there's 2 cornerstore/bars next to the barbershop. If you walk by at night there's always someone sitting outside drinking. You can find the apartment on airbnb, if your interested in staying here during your next visit to Colombia. Sabaneta park is always pop'n during the weekends. 15 min drive to Parque lleras(Using Uber, DiDi, or public taxi); about 20-40min by train. Mayorca mall is a 10-15 min walk from the apartment as well, inside they have a ton of stores, bars, casino, smart fit(gym), banco colombia atm, etc; everything you need to have a comfortable trip. You can stay in sabaneta for a month and find something new everyday!!!
