In this first episode, we are looking at Madrid.
One of the things I love to do in a new city is go up the tallest building (the public can) to get the best view. I found out about the Faro De Moncloa transmitter tower while looking at a map on the IFE of a BA flight heading to Madrid. Click the wiki link below for more info
Now, you might wonder how much it is to go up and visit. It is a major European city, so the price will be expensive yes? NO... It is €3, that is THREE Euro! You can buy online or you can show up and buy at the desk.
Once you have your ticket, you will go through a security check point, show your ticket to the conductor who will then take you up in the lift.
In the observation deck itself, there is a snack machine and toilets.
