Eastern Anatolia is one of the least explored areas of Turkey but just as the most known areas in the country, it also has outstanding places rich in history and culture.
This time we decided to explore the province of Kars, a city that borders Armenia, and the perfect getaway to the impressive medieval Armenian city of Ani.
Kars is also quite famous for its ski resort which is located just 40 kms away from Kars center, making it one of the preferred destinations for winter sports among Turkish citizens, and in my opinion, Kars has been one of the best cities in Turkey we have recently explored.
