Costa Brava: Water World Aquatic Park & Optional Transfer -
Aquadiver is one of the two water parks of the Costa Brava. The park is located within the resort town of Platja d'Aro. You can walk here from the beach in 20 minutes.
The park has several cafes, picnic areas and a VIP area.
An adult ticket to the park costs 36 euros, a child ticket 20 euros. In July and August, the park is open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Castell-Platja d'Aro is a municipality in the middle of the Costa Brava in Catalonia, Spain. It is formed from two parts: Castell d'Aro is an ancient village built around a medieval castle and a fortified church, 3 km inland on the road from Platja d'Aro to Santa Cristina d'Aro; and Platja d'Aro is a coastal town on the road from Palamós to Sant Feliu de Guíxols which stretches along a large 2 km beach. Originally a small fishing village, Platja d'Aro is now a major coastal resort, popular predominantly with Catalans and villa-owning Northern Europeans.
Castell d'Aro is located in the heart of the Costa Brava, 80 km north of Barcelona. It borders with Calonge to the north, Santa Cristina d'Aro to the west, Sant Feliu to the south and the Coast to the East. Castell-Platja d'Aro occupies the eastern end of the Vall d'Aro, a narrow plain drained by the river Ridaura and located between the Mountain ranges of Cadiretes and southern end of the Gavarres. Platja d'Aro was originally a small fishing village on the highway between Palamós and Sant Feliu de Guíxols with a 2 km long beach. It is now a major tourist resort with hotels and other commercial premises.

Hiking along the Hidden Paradise Beaches-GR92,Catalonia |Sant Antoni Calonge, Platja d'Aro & S'Agaro
For the day 14 of GR92 the plan was to make 17kms that didn't look very difficult elevation wise. We would go through the towns Palamos, Calonge, Platja d Aro, and S'Agaro in Sant Feliu de Guixols. It was promising to be a very pavement heavy day with lots of towns to pass by but at the same time, we still hoped to go through some natural paths close to the sea line along the scenic cliffs.

Platja d'Aro, located on the Costa Brava in Catalonia, Spain, is a charming coastal town known for its beautiful beaches, lively atmosphere and delicious cuisine.
We arrived in Platja d'Aro on a sunny day and were immediately drawn to the town's long stretches of sandy beaches. We spent most of our time at the main beach, Platja Gran, which is a wide beach with crystal-clear waters and a great view of the town. The beach is well-equipped with umbrellas, sunbeds and showers, and there are also several beach bars and restaurants where we enjoyed fresh seafood and cold drinks.
In addition to the beaches, we also explored the town of Platja d'Aro. The town center is a pedestrian zone, with a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants. We strolled through the streets, admiring the town's colorful architecture and the lively atmosphere. One of the highlights was the market square, where we found a variety of local crafts and souvenirs.
The town of Platja d'Aro is also known for its nightlife and we were not disappointed. We visited several bars and clubs, which offered a great atmosphere and great music. The town also has several casinos and live music venues, which provided us with entertainment during our evenings.
The gastronomy in Platja d'Aro was also excellent. We had the opportunity to taste some delicious local dishes such as the famous paella, tapas and fresh seafood. We also enjoyed some traditional Catalan dishes such as esqueixada, a salad made of salt cod, tomato, onion and green peppers.
Overall, our trip to Platja d'Aro was a great success. The town offers a perfect mix of beach, culture and entertainment. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing holiday on the Costa Brava.

As the sun starts to set Platja d’Aro takes on a different vibe. As holiday makers pack up their towels and beach gear, many people head straight to the bars for some kind of liquid refreshment.
And then, after washing off the sand and sun block under the shower, it’s time to grab something to eat. While many may head straight back to their hotel or apartment afterwards, for many it’s just the beginning of the evening.
