Candelario is a municipality located in the province of Salamanca, Castile and León, Spain. In the autonomous community of Castile and Leon . It is integrated within the region of the Sierra de Béjar . It belongs to the judicial party of Béjar and the Commonwealth Route of the Silver .
Candelario municipal term is formed by a single nucleus of population, occupies a total surface of 60,17 km ² and according to the demographic data collected in the municipal register elaborated by the INE in the year 2016, counts on a population of 934 inhabitants.
Mountain village with very characteristic constructions, with wide stone walls, large wooden balconies and the famous batipuertas. Candelario, named after the protected natural area of Candelario , is surrounded by spectacular forests of oaks and chestnut trees, with elevations above 2000 m. of height. This place was declared in 2006 as a Biosphere Reserve by Unesco , as part of the Biosphere Reserve of the Sierras de Bejar and France.
Candelario is located in the southeastern end of the province of Salamanca and borders the provinces of Cáceres and Avila . n. 1 Belongs to the region of the Sierra de Béjar and to the judicial party of Béjar . Within the limits of the municipality is the reservoir of Navamuño , that dam the river Angostura and supplies water to the Embalse de Béjar Mancomunidad .
In addition to the museum, you can see the coffered ceiling of the parish church, in a very well preserved Mudejar style, the baroque and churrigueresque altarpieces, the altarpiece of the martyrs of the s. XVI of Italian influence, with a mannerist carving of San Sebastián, the Romanesque carving of the Christ of Olvido, or the Gothic rosette.
The Hermitage of the Humilladero, dedicated to the Christ of the Refuge, with a baroque altarpiece, is at the entrance of the town.
Other objects of the traditional architecture, apart from the church and the hermitage, are the main facade of the town hall and its interior staircase in stone and the several manor houses distributed by the town. The viewpoint Cruz del Herrerito is located a short distance on a hill southwest of Candelario.

10 Things to do in Sevilla
The Via de la Plata starts in the magnificent city of Seville. This Camino de Santiago route was first of all a trading road used by the Romans to join the North and the South of Spain and it is by far the longest Camino (1000km). Seville is the capital and largest city of the autonomous community of Andalusia, situated on the plains of the River Guadalquivir. Seville has a metropolitan population of about 1.5 million, making it the fourth-largest city in Spain. Its Old Town, the third largest in Europe with an area of 4 square kilometres, contains three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Alcázar palace complex, the Cathedral and the General Archive of the Indies.
I lived in this beautiful Seville for six months so I have compiled 10 things that you should do in Seville if you are starting your Camino there:
1-The Cathedral of St. Mary
It is among the largest of all medieval and Gothic cathedrals, in terms of both area and volume. The interior is the longest nave in Spain, and is lavishly decorated, with a large quantity of gold. The most impressive and iconic part is the Giralda Tower, the views from the top are amazing.
2-The General Archive of the Indies
This archive is the repository of extremely valuable archival documents illustrating the history of the Spanish Empire in the Americas and the Philippines. The building itself is an unusually serene and Italianate example of Spanish Renaissance architecture.
3-The Alcázar
is a royal palace facing the cathedral. It is the oldest royal palace still in use in Europe. Every inch of the palace is covered in intricate detail, the mix of architectural styles is fabulous and the gardens are stunning. The Alcázar Gardens, within the grounds of the Alcázar palace, consist of several sectors developed in different periods and styles.
4-Plaza de España
The Plaza de España, in María Luisa Park (Parque de María Luisa), has some incredible buildings, a giant fountain, and a little moat surrounding it. It's one of the most stunning spots in Sevilla. The Plaza de España has tiled displays for each region of Spain, showing scenes from each region. They're really detailed and amazing to look at.
5-The Torre del Oro
was built by the Almohad dynasty as a watchtower and defensive barrier on the river. A chain was strung through the water from the base of the tower to prevent boats from traveling into the river port.
6-The Parque de María Luisa (María Luisa Park)
is a monumental public park that stretches along the Guadalquivr River. It is Seville's main green area.
7-Real Maestranza, Bullfight Ring
This is this typical example of a Spanish bullring. It has an enormous capacity, holding up to 13,000 spectators, once inside it is really impressive.
8-The Metropol Parasol, in Encarnación square
is the world's largest wooden structure. A monumental umbrella-like building designed by a German architect, it was finished in 2011. This modern architecture structure houses the central market and an underground archaeological complex. The terrace roof is a good city viewpoint.
9-See a flamenco dance in a restaurant
The western district of Triana has plenty of restaurants and bars where you can drink, eat and watch Flamenco. Equally you can find a lot of bars like that in the Barrio Santa Cruz district.
10-And finally don't forget to go for some Tapas!
There are over 4,000 amazing tapas bars in the city, you must try it once at least.

Mogarraz is a municipality and Spanish town of the province of Salamanca , in the autonomous community of Castile and Leon . It is integrated within the region of the Sierra de Francia . It belongs to the judicial party of Ciudad Rodrigo and the Sierra de Francia Commonwealth .
Mogarraz municipal term is formed by a single nucleus of population, occupies a total surface of 9.05 km ² and according to the demographic data collected in the municipal register elaborated by the INE in the year 2016, counts on a population of 309 inhabitants.
The town of Mogarraz was declared of Cultural Interest of the category of historical complex in 1998, presenting a typical medieval urban structure with narrow streets and regular layout. The foundation of Mogarraz is due to the process of repopulation carried out by the Leonese kings in the Middle Ages in the Sierra de Francia. In this way, Mogarraz became part of Miranda del Castañar after the creation of this one by King Alfonso IX of Leon in 1213.

Tiene sus raíces históricas en dos territorios diferenciados, la Tierra de Montemayor y la Comunidad de Villa y Tierra de Béjar, que aunque se situaban en reinos diferentes en la Alta Edad Media, posteriormente se juntaron tras la inclusión de la mayor parte de la comunidad bejarana en la provincia de Salamanca, hecho que se atestigua ya en el siglo XVI, y que posteriormente se reafirmó en la división territorial de España realizada por Javier de Burgos en 1833.
