Walking in Mostar - Bosnia and Herzegovina (4K/60FPS)

Mostar is a historic city situated in the southern region of Bosnia and Herzegovina, celebrated for its rich cultural heritage and diverse architectural influences. The city's most iconic landmark is the Stari Most (Old Bridge), a 16th-century Ottoman-style bridge gracefully arching over the emerald waters of the Neretva River. The bridge, reconstructed in 2004 after its destruction during the Bosnian War, stands as a symbol of unity and resilience.

The historic center of Mostar showcases a blend of Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian architectural styles, reflecting the city's complex past. Key attractions include the cobbled streets of the Old Bazaar, Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque, and the Muslibegović House, which together provide a window into Mostar's vibrant history and culture.

A popular destination for tourists, Mostar offers a unique combination of history, picturesque views, and warm hospitality, making it an essential stop on any visit to the Balkans.

ONE DAY IN MOSTAR (BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA) | 4K 60FPS | Amazing sights of a perfect day

Mostar, picturesquely situated in the valley of the Neretva River, is the fifth largest city in Bosnia-Herzegovina with a population of just over 113,000 and historically the capital of Herzegovina.

The city's most famous landmark is the Old Bridge, the Stari Most, historically considered a symbol of the union between Christianity and Islam. Built in 1566, the bridge was destroyed in the Bosnian war in 1993 and rebuilt after the war. It is considered a protected cultural asset and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005 as a symbol of reconciliation and international and intercultural cooperation.

But Mostar has much much more to offer, and as always I tried to capture all my impressions with my camera. The city impressed me so much that I dedicated my longest video to it so far.

I hope you will enjoy watching. I would be happy if you give my video a like, leave me a comment and subscribe my channel for further videos. All your feedback helps me a lot, and I can promise you to show all my passion in my upcoming videos as well. Thanks in advance for your support and best regards!

The bridge spans the Neretva river in the old town of Mostar, the city to which it gave the name. The city is the fifth-largest in the country; it is the center of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the unofficial capital of Herzegovina. The Stari Most is hump-backed, 4 metres (13 ft 1 in) wide and 30 metres (98 ft 5 in) long, and dominates the river from a height of 24 m (78 ft 9 in). Two fortified towers protect it: the Halebija tower on the northeast and the Tara tower on the southwest, called the bridge keepers (natively mostari).[1]
