Jatayu Nature Park holds the distinction of having the world's largest bird sculpture, which is of Jatayu. The sculpture measures (200 feet (61 m) long, 150 feet (46 m) wide, 70 feet (21 m) in height and occupies 15,000 square feet (1,400 m2) of floor area). It was sculpted by Rajiv Anchal.

കൊല്ലം ജില്ലയിലെ ചടയമംഗലം ജടായുപ്പാറയിൽ 64 ഏക്കറിൽ നിർമ്മാണത്തിലിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പരിസ്ഥിതി ഉദ്യാനമാണ് ജടായു എർത്ത്സ് സെന്റർ അഥവാ ജടായു നേച്ചർ പാർക്ക്. സംവിധായകനായ രാജീവ് അഞ്ചലിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലാണു നിർമ്മാണം. പൊതു-സ്വകാര്യ പങ്കാളിത്തത്തിൽ നിർമ്മിക്കുന്ന കേരളത്തിലെ ആദ്യ വിനോദസഞ്ചാരപദ്ധതിയാണിത്. രാമായനത്തിലെ ജടായുവിന്റേതായി ഇവിടെ നിർമ്മിക്കുന്ന പ്രതിമ ലോകത്തിലെ തന്നെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പക്ഷിപ്രതിമയാണ്.
ജടായു-രാവണയുദ്ധം ജടായുപ്പാറയിൽ വെച്ചാണ് നടന്നതെന്നാണ് വിശ്വാസം. വെട്ടേറ്റു വീണ ജടായുവിനെ ഓർമപ്പെടുത്തും വിധമാണ് ശിൽപം. 200 അടി നീളവും 150 അടി വീതിയും 75 അടി ഉയരവുമുണ്ട് പക്ഷിശിൽപത്തിന്.
നൂറുകോടി ചിലവിൽ പണിതുയർത്തുന്ന പാർക്കിൽ ഒരു 6D തീയേറ്റർ,മലമുകളിലേക്ക് സഞ്ചരിക്കാൻ ഒരു കിലോമീറ്റർ ദൂരത്തിൽ കേബിൾ കാർ സംവിധാനം, ഒരു ഡിജിറ്റൽ മ്യൂസിയം തുടങ്ങിയ സംവിധാനങ്ങൾ പദ്ധതിയിലുണ്ട്. അഡ്വഞ്ചർ സോണും ആയുർവ്വേദ റിസോർട്ടും പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമാണ്.
ജലപ്രതിസന്ധി പരിഹരിക്കാൻ രണ്ട് കൂറ്റൻ പാറകളെ യോജിപ്പിച്ച് ചെക് ഡാം നിർമിച്ചു. ഇവിടെ മഴവെള്ളം ശേഖരിച്ചു. ജലം എത്തിയതോടെ ജടായുപ്പാറയുടെ താഴ്വരകളിൽ പച്ചപ്പ് നിറഞ്ഞുവളർന്നു. ഉത്തരവാദിത്ത വിനോദസഞ്ചാരപദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി ഇതിനുസമീപത്തുള്ള വയലേലകളെ കൂട്ടിയിണക്കി കാർഷികമാതൃകയ്ക്കും രൂപം നൽകുന്നുണ്ട്.
കൂറ്റൻ ശില്പത്തിനുള്ളിലേക്ക് സഞ്ചാരികൾക്ക് കടന്നുചെല്ലാം. രാമായണകഥയാണിവിടെ വിവരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. പൂർണമായും ശീതീകരിച്ച പക്ഷിയുടെ ഉൾവശത്തുകൂടി സഞ്ചരിച്ച് കൊക്കുവരെ ചെല്ലാം. തുടർന്ന് പക്ഷിയുടെ കണ്ണിലൂടെ പുറത്തെ കാഴ്ചകൾ കാണാം. രാവണ-ജടായു യുദ്ധത്തിന്റെ 6ഡി തിേയറ്റർ സംവിധാനവും ഒരുക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. .

The first major BOT tourism in Kerala, India Jatayu Earths Center is the first joint effort by the Tourism department of Kerala and Mr Rajiv Anchal along with private equity holders to create a destination, which is a unique combination of all aspects of tourism and offers a complete Kerala, God’s own Country experience to every tourist. Jatayu Earths Center tourism project is spread over 65 acres of multi terrain landscape at Jatayupara near Chadayamangalam town in Kollam district of Kerala. The terrain is 1000 feet above sea level and has diverse geographic features ranging from hills,valleys,rugged rocks, caves to cultivable lands. THE STATUE
The giant concrete statue of Jatayu is built on a mighty rock named Jatayupara (para means rock in Malayalam). The colossal statue is 200 feet long,150 feet wide and 70 feet making is the largest functional bird sculpture in the world with an enter into the Guinness Book of World Records.
