Gola Glava is a small village near Valjevo and it's where Ana's grandparents were born in Serbia. We spend time with Serbian locals making Slivovits (Plum Brandy), cook traditional Serbian food, and hang out with Ana's entire family. The Serbian food we make in this video is mouthwatering.

Every summer, Isabella, her mother, Dina, and her daughter, Federica, honor the family tradition and make tomato sauce in their garden. The process is a laborious one that takes several hours, from handpicking each tomato to adding basil leaves into jars one by one. This year, the family has turned more than 200 kilos of tomatoes into sauce.

NEW ORLEANS: Welcome to Tremé, New Orleans, and today we’re eating at Willie Mae’s Scotch House ( one of the most historical restaurants in New Orleans known for their amazing soul food and serving some of the best fried chicken in the United States!
Willie Mae’s Scotch House originally started in 1957, but it didn’t start as a full restaurant like it is today. Instead, it was a barbershop, salon, and a bar. With the bar customers came a demand for food, and soon their food became famous - so well known that the food took over and it was turned into a restaurant. In 2005, Ms. Willie Mae Seaton was awarded with a James Beard award for “America’s Classic Restaurant for the Southern Region.” This prestigious award opened new doors and really put Willie Mae’s Scotch House on the map across the United States. Ms. Willie Mae Seaton has since passed away, but her legacy of delicious food and caring for the community will never be forgotten.
I ordered a number of fried chicken plates all coming with different sides. Let me first tell you about the fried chicken - battered and deep fried. But the batter didn't feel too heavy or caky, and what I liked the most is that when you bite down, the entire skin crispiness doesn’t all come of, but rather stays on the chicken. The chicken was so moist and juicy and the flavor was salty with a hint of spice. Willie Mae’s Scotch House has been named the best fried chicken in America, and I’m not going to argue!
The sides were also delicious, I loved the beans and rice, the green beans and the fried okra. Amazing fried chicken, delicious Soul Food side dishes, and a preservation of New Orleans history and culture.

-Culturally, African parents have always opted for caning as punishment for their kids but it appears the new generation has ways to appeal to their parents in order to avoid being punished.
A mother recently shared a video of her son’s funny reaction after he pleaded in the most unique way when she tried to flog him. In the video, the mother could be heard scolding the little boy for a naughty thing that he had done. Apparently, the boy had taken something he was not meant to touch and without permission. As the woman scolded her son, the little boy told her to calm down. He even took things further by sitting down on the arm of a sofa to demonstrate how she was to relax.

All Alone at Disneyland? A Lonely Mama Day at Disney Chasing Down My Daughter and Her Friends.
Okay maybe I am being a little dramatic. I wasn't completely alone, but I was baby free at Disneyland for the first time EVER.
My oldest daughter had a school function at Disneyland and then free time at the park. I decided to meet her there, because it was a long day and I wanted to be there incase she needed anything (and I wasn't totally comfortable with my 11 year running around unsupervised at a huge theme park...with strangers...and the big germ!)
So here is my lonely mama day at Disneyland, California.
