Arriving HK during COVID | Tips on HK Airport entry process
Hi everyone, in this video I am sharing my experience on how I entered HK airport and went through multiple procedures in June 2022. Hope it can give you an idea to make it less stressful. I was not able to film every single procedure because there are a few steps are not allowed to take photos or videos or I was too busy doing dealing my process :)
*** Please be aware that I am only sharing my experience, does not mean this is the rule or 100% correct and everyone might be different or procedure changes anytime, you might need more or less document.***
Document needed to upload on the HK Department of Health, so you can get the HK QR code which only valid for 24 hours.
-Pre-flight 48Hrs PCR test with the Laboratory certificates AUD $145
-Vaccination Certificate
-Quarantine Hotel Booking confirmations
-Passport/HK ID card
At the airport they will do PCR and RAT COVID test and check all the document at various stage and provide you with more guides and more document. Hope all these info might help.

Arriving at Hong Kong Airport and 7 day quarantine at Royal Pacific - 抵達香港機場 & 皇家太平洋酒店檢疫7天
Another period of quarantine in Hong Kong was pretty boring.
Ramada Grand View Hong Kong 21 Nights Quarantine Review (華美達盛景酒店隔離日誌)
Due to no domestic flight, Magical Transport Services provided the excellent comfort & hygiene limousine service from Penang to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in reasonable price.
We can stay in the same room as we came to HK on the same flight. We stayed in Ramada Grand View Hong Kong for 21 Nights Quarantine. Due to the sewage backflow & bedbug (been bite few times!) on the second day of arrival, we changed to 18/F after complained to Department of Health. You can refer to the room tour and daily meal in the video.
Pros: Can open windows for fresh air; Two pax stayed in a Family Suite Room (390sq ft) at HKD780 per night (i.e. 1 person cost HKD390/ night), with bedroom/ living room/dining table/sofa/microwave (on request), and more space to move around. Hotel located next to the wet market & near Wellcome supermarket, is easy for friends/ family to buy food / daily supply nearby.
Cons: Sewage backflow & bedbug on 2nd day; Don't expect much on the daily meals; Some noise from the wet market & tram station downstairs.

I am Grace on Tour and travel has been my biggest passion ever since I can remember. My very first international trip was done two weeks after I was born. In the summer of 2018 I started posting on this channel as I set off on a trip around Asia before studying a semester in Taiwan. During this time my love for travel grew and I tried to travel to new places during my weekends off from university. Throughout uni I made travel a priority and worked multiple side jobs to fund my travels. After doing my thesis in Hong Kong I graduated in June 2019. At this point I decided to take a gap year and go traveling. My goal was to visit as many countries as possible. I soon realized that travel is what I love and wan´t to keep on doing. I now dream of visiting every country in the world.

Arriving Hong Kong Airport during Covid Time
This is a video showing footage of what is like arriving Hong Kong airport during Covid time.
When you arrive, you will be escorted to the compulsory quarantine area.
You need to go through to different stations to check your information, do your PCR, get your compulsory quarantine order, check your phone number, wait for your PCR test. Once you get your PCR test, you can go through immigration and collect your luggage. Then you get escorted to queue up for your bus to your hotel.
It took me 5 hours from arrival to my hotel.
