Exploring the Provincial Government complex is a local studio aiming to revive the village by deeply connecting with local culture. Starting from Zhongxing New Village, the studio revitalizes old buildings with creativity, lights up the village with passion, discovers local characteristics inherited from provincial government era to cultivate the potential of the complex. By exploring local characteristics, traditional dining culture and diverse ecosystem, the power of local culture can be developed and passed on, even turned into various brands.
Centered on Guanming Village inside Zhongxing New Village, the studio has successfully built more than 10 cultural and creative brands to demonstrate how local culture can be revitalized. With in-depth walking tours, cultural tourism coexists with local characteristics while local areas revitalized with its own culture, making every corner of Zhongxing New Village not only shine like sunlight with its own character, simplicity and authenticity, but also exists as important as air and flows like water. Ultimately, through connecting and reviving cultural tourism in the complex, a free-style in-depth experience is born.
Some say that this studio is the culture salon of Zhongxing New Village, the nurturing space of brands and creativity, the incubator to gather talents from diverse background, and of course, a fun place.

The 2.49 hectares Central Taiwan Innovation Campus is located inside Zhongxing New Village. Designed with local environment and culture in mind, the building fully blends into the surroundings. Low carbon emission is also an integral part of this building. Carbon emissions have been carefully calculated from the very beginning of the design to minimize the CO2 produced during construction. The whole architecture is made of metal curtain walls with shading panels installed on the outer wall. These panels are more that just exteriors, they also block excessive heat and regulate light intake from the sun. As for the goal of reducing carbon emissions, the shading and natural lighting helps improve energy efficiency of the building.
The solar panels on top of the building are the most tilted in Taiwan, generating 140 kW of electricity that can power up to 10% of campus lighting. This building is a good example of combining solar power and architecture, which has won itself many awards and certifications. In 2014, it is the first place for Best Planning Design of the Taiwan Real Estate Excellence Award. In 2015, it became the first research complex building to be certified for both Diamond Class green building and intelligent building labels. In 2016, it won the Gold Winner in Industrial category of FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards .
The building has implemented effective emery managing and saving initiatives by introducing energy management system, automated communication functions, air quality monitoring system, etc., which allows the building to be responsive to emergencies as it is capable of detecting malfunctions in real time. All these features make the Central Taiwan Innovation Campus a sustainable architecture with safety, health, comfort, convenience and energy reduction built in.

✔️位於省府路椰林大道兩側的荷花池，每年5-7月盛開的荷花吸引大批人潮！還貼心設計景觀台方便遊客駐足欣賞！
🔶中興新村牌樓

✔️這個景點速戰速決拍完照片就快快離開，因為這裡車流量很大，可惜沒有拍到圓環！
🔶小白宮（中興會堂）

✔️位於中興新村的正中央，典雅又吸睛的白色建築，屬於巴洛克式風格， 早期是省府集會、接待貴賓的場所，現在已經沒有對外開放，卻是大家喜歡拍照的好地點，成為中興新村代表性地標！

✔️位於中興郵局南投7支局的轉角處，大約有兩層樓高的郵票牆，據說有300多張已發行過的郵票，也是中興新村熱門打卡景點！集郵迷必訪勝地！

中興新村是位於台灣南投縣南投市北部的新市鎮，是台灣戰後第二個新市鎮（次於光復新村），為過去中華民國臺灣省政府駐地所在，面積約7.07平方公里。
1955年開始籌建，1956年臺灣省政府從台北市疏遷至此辦公，1957年整體都市設計參仿英國倫敦「新市鎮」創建模式而設計建造完成，最早佔地約二百公頃，成為辦公與住宅合一之田園式行政社區，社區內植被高度綠化，社區內開先例之雨、污水分流下水道系統，使社區有最好的生活環保標準，社區內巷道採囊底路設計，密度適當易形成敦親睦鄰守望相助的濃厚情誼，突顯強烈的社區意識。20世紀末，台灣省政府功能業務與組織調整（省虛級化）之後，中興新村原有服務省府機關的機能不再，面臨發展定位的轉型。
親情公園位於中興新村入口圓環旁,正好在光華路與中正路交叉口中間，中央是廣闊草地，並有健康步道、假山、戲水池及三座具親情意象的石雕作品立在其間，為親子活動最佳場所，對面的省政府風箏大草坪可以放風箏、丟飛盤、玩捉迷藏等盡情的跑、跳、蹦，累了可以悠哉倘佯在榕樹濃蔭下小憩片刻或是閒話家常。
Zhongxing New Village (English: Zhongxing New Village) is a new town located in the northern part of Nantou City, Nantou County, Taiwan. It is the second new town in Taiwan after the war (after Guangfu New Village). About 7.07 square kilometers.
Preparations began in 1955. In 1956, the Taiwan Provincial Government moved from Taipei City to the office. In 1957, the overall urban design was designed and constructed following the model of the New Town in London, England. An idyllic administrative community with residential integration. The vegetation in the community is highly green. The precedent rain and sewage sewer system in the community enables the community to have the best living environmental protection standards. The roadway in the community is designed with the bottom of the bag and the density is appropriate and easy to form. The strong friendship of close relatives, good neighborliness and mutual assistance highlights a strong sense of community. At the end of the 20th century, after the adjustment of the functions, business and organization of the Taiwan Provincial Government (provincial deficiencies), the original function of Zhongxing New Village to serve provincial government agencies no longer existed, and it was facing a transformation in its development positioning.
Family Park is located next to the entrance circle of Zhongxing New Village, right in the middle of the intersection of Guanghua Road and Zhongzheng Road. In the center is a vast grassland, and there are healthy trails, rockery, paddling pool and three stone sculptures with affectionate images standing in between, for parents and children The best place for activities, the provincial government kite lawn on the opposite side allows you to fly kites, throw frisbees, play hide-and-seek, etc. to run, jump, and bounce.

目前已成為中台灣觀光休閒遊樂據點，旅遊服務業為重要產業。

台灣南投旅遊 埔里特色生態民宿住一晚 Nantou Taiwan Travel | ECO B&B
這一集我和家人要來去南投旅遊並住一晚，我們去了中興新村，感受舊省府的魅力，晚上再到千葉火鍋吃吃到飽。這間埔里民宿非常有特色，結合生態並與在地小農合作，我個人非常喜歡。
隔天我們到溪頭享受森林浴和新鮮空氣，並到草屯吃cp值很高的義大利麵，為南投之旅畫下句點。
My family and I had a two-day, one-night stay in Nantou Taiwan. We chose to stay at the Nearest Nook B&B, an ECO B&B located in Puli. During our short trip, we visited ZhongXing New Village and enjoyed a buffet dinner at ChienYen hot pot. The next day, we headed to XiTou to take in the beautiful scenery and breathe in the fresh air. We wrapped up our trip with a delicious and affordable lunch at Nu Pasta before departing.

轆轆散步市集位於中興新村光明一路與光榮東路二街口，是個歐式市集。每個月的第四個週末，固定於此地舉辦市集活動，市集主軸分為友善食材 / 原創職人 / 親子同樂 / 友愛動物等，旁邊就有內轆溪停車場，可說是相當方便，此區亦開始形成文創部落，是個散步休閒的好去處喔。

光復新村位於霧峰區坑口里，其歷史可追溯到1950年代初期，退守台灣的中華民國政府，為了防止戰爭時一次就將政府機關摧毀，因此推動「疏遷計畫」，把台灣省政府遷到臺灣中部。1956年於霧峰建立的光復新村成為二戰後台灣第一個新市鎮，次年於南投市建立中興新村。

這次從永和街與中山路口開始，走到永和街與垂楊路口，在中山路這端有嘉義人共同回憶的諸羅紀玩具店，以前門口都會有隻很大的氣球恐龍，只要講說車站前面那隻恐龍基本上大家都懂，然後隔壁是還不錯吃的雅舍早餐店，有賣隨機顏色的彩虹蛋餅，附近還有嘉義市力美術館和文化創意園區，週末時常舉辦活動。
沿著永和街經過民族路後，就會抵達舊魚市場，整個市場佔地並不大，直接走過去的話5分鐘就能走完，但是要買東西的話，每次一逛就是一兩個小時，衣服、食材都有許多便宜又實惠的選擇，最後走到垂楊路就是路底了，不過附近也是非常熱鬧，有兩間百貨公司、大型水果商場等等，這附近很適合散步逛街。
