1. Abuja. Abuja is a Nigerian city which is located in the centre of Nigeria. It was created with the aim of replacing Lagos as the capital of Nigeria.
This Nigerian city also plays host to so many tourist attractions in Nigeria.
Some of these national monuments include the Aso rock,National Assembly complex, Zuma rock, Supreme Court complex, the Nigerian national stadium, National mosque and church, Abuja millennium tower and lots more.

4. Uyo. Uyo is the capital of one of Nigeria’s finest states – Akwa-Ibom State.

I booked an appointment to meet the 19th Emir of Zazzau/Zaria, Kaduna State-Nigetia, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, with the intention of interviewing His Royal Highness, and providing my foreign friends the opportunity to meet a Nigerian Monarch.
In addition to interviewing the Emir, we were treated to a tour of the Palace.

The Nok culture (or Nok civilization) is a population whose material remains are named after the Ham village of Nok in Kaduna State of Nigeria, where their terracotta sculptures were first discovered in 1928. The Nok Culture appeared in Nigeria around 1500 BC and vanished under unknown circumstances around 500 AD, having lasted approximately 2,000 years.
Iron use in smelting and forging tools, appears in Nok culture by at least 550 BC and possibly a few centuries earlier.bData from historical linguistics suggest that iron smelting was independently discovered in the region by 1000 BC. Scientific field work began in 2005 to systematically investigate Nok archaeological sites and to better understand Nok terracotta sculptures within their Iron Age archaeological context.

Africa's Largest Housing Estate in Gwarinpa Abuja Nigeria.
Abuja Gwarinpa is acclaimed to be the largest single housing estate in Africa which sits on an expanse of land measuring about 1090 hectares with seven residential areas demarcated by avenues. Built-in early 2000, Gwarinpa in Abuja was conceptualized by late alhaji Lateef Kayode Jakande as minister of works under the general Abacha regime as the military head of state.
Abuja Gwarinpa is a city of its own, having all the infrastructure and fabrics that make up a city. From Police stations to places of worship, entertainment center, shopping mall, eateries, local markets, and banks. There is also proper sewage and water infrastructure in Gwarinpa.
Gwarinpa in Abuja is also bordered by interesting places such as Jabi lake, where you find the Jabi lake mall for shopping, Jabi boat club, and Jabi park for relaxation and fun activities.
Abuja Gwarinpa is considered a middle/high-income earners district and a good living location of choice for many people who moved to Abuja. Although Gwarinpa is well planned, you will still find a corner called Gwarinpa village that has been accompanied by the poor and daily street hustlers.

Nos vamos al norte de Nigeria - Abuja, Zaria y Kano
El norte de Nigeria era, por así decirlo, territorio comanche cuando estuvimos en Nigeria en 2010-2011. Algunos nos animaban diciendo que el norte, de mayoría musulmana, era totalmente diferente al sur, de mayoría cristiana. Otros nos desalentaban diciendo que era peligroso. Al final decidimos embarcarnos en este viaje tan apasionante para ver en persona un festival que llamó poderosamente nuestro interés y que solo se celebraba una vez al año, Durbar. Hombres vestidos con sus mejores galas y montados a caballo emigran en procesión hacia el Palacio del Emir para saludarlo. Además también participaban encantadores de serpientes y chicos que jugaban a meterse espadas en la boca. El viaje superó las expectativas.
