Walking at Festival in Yarraville, Melbourne,VIC 3013, Australia
I was walking in this fantastic festival and i enjoyed a few minutes that have been there. Many kinds of and multicultural foods.
Yarraville Gardens BBQ - Nighty Food Trucks and FARMERS MARKET
You know you're at a good park when you can take your shoes off and feel the thickness of the grass between your toes. Throw in BBQ facilities, playground, dog park, and a nightly lineup of Food Trucks and you have yourselves the total package.
The council has limited the food truck frenzy due to rubbish issues, but you can still find up to 10 trucks here on any one night. Perfect for an impromptu picnic that you don't need to plan much for!
YARRAVILLE GARDENS
FARMERS MARKET
Set in the beautiful historical Yarraville Gardens in Melbourne Victoria, come down and browse through the extensive range of fresh fruit and veggies as it's the best at the Yarraville Gardens Farmers Market. Stock-up your pantry with the best produce on offer, meet a friend, sit down and have a bacon egg sandwich, sasuage sizzle, pastry and a hot cup of coffee in the peaceful surrounding gardens. The Market is located next to an off lead dog park, so why not bring your family & dog!
The Farmers Market has changed to the 3rd Sunday of each month.
Vanessa in Yarraville Village
Vanessa has lived in Yarraville for 22 years and loves everything about it. Yarraville has a special feeling about it, like being in a country town in the middle of the city. Only 5 km from Melbourne with its boutique shops, cafes, and especially the Sun Theatre. Visit Yarraville by car, train, or ride your bike its a fantastic day out for the whole family.
Stoney Creek Park and West Gate Bridge in Yarraville by Drone - Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
I recently discovered Stoney Creek Park in Yarraville which is alongside West Gate Bridge on the Yarra River. This video is about this park and I have included the creek in Yarraville as well as Dinosaur Park and Sun Theatre. The weekend weather wasn't the best although the sun came out for a little while on this morning. I hope you like the video.

Melbourne Travel Guide during your time in Melbourne and how to enjoy magnificent Melbourne weather
Melbourne Travel Guide during your time in Melbourne and how to enjoy magnificent Melbourne weather
Melbourne, at the head of Port Phillip Bay, is Australia's second largest city and the capital of the south-eastern state of Victoria.
Serving as Australia’s undisputed cultural capital, Melbourne is bursting with Victorian-era architecture, famed cafés, great bars and restaurants, extensive shopping, museums, galleries, theatres, and large parks and gardens. Its nearly 5-million residents are both multicultural and sports-mad, and the city has year-round festivals, sporting events and the best of Australian culture on display.
Melbourne is famous as the host city for a range of major international sporting events such as the Australian Open, Melbourne Cup Carnival and Formula 1 Grand Prix. It also features some of the world's most popular art galleries and museums (National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne Museum) and internationally acclaimed festivals (Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival, Melbourne Fringe Festival). The city is also represented by its world-famous street art, coffee culture, pubs and live music... most of which can be found tucked away in a large number of iconic laneways. Frequently named as the World's Most Liveable City, Melbourne is close to and features many gardens, national parks and areas that are home to some of Australia's iconic wildlife (The Great Ocean Road, Grampians National Park, Phillip Island, Royal Botanic Gardens). Indigenous sites, museums and experiences (Koorie Heritage Trust, Birrarung Marr, Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Centre) maintain a vital link to the people and culture of the First Nations.

Melbourne is famous for being capable of showing 'four seasons in one day' and has a temperate climate with distinct seasons and usually mild weather. Melbourne is the third-driest capital city in Australia with half of Sydney's rainfall (at 600mm) and is good to visit year-round. Days in Summer have an average high of 26°C, though days above 35°C occur sporadically as it is the warmest season with the lowest rainfall (and fewest rainy days). Autumn and Spring are similar temperatures, hovering around 21°C averages, however there are an average of 11 days with rainfall for each of the Autumn months (March-May), compared to 14 days for each Spring month (Sep-Nov).

Postcards Episode 34: Frankston to Yarraville
Host Brodie catches the train from Frankston to Yarraville, to explore the eclectic mix of shops and cafes.

Skyhigh Lookout Overlooking Melbourne City Australia
During the peak of Covid lockdowns in Melbourne Australia, where most people were working from home, and almost nobody was working in the city, I took a ride up to the Skyhigh Lookout in the Dandenong Ranges, which is one of Melbourne most popular tourist attractions, with amazing views over the Melbourne skyline.
I have been coming up to Skyhigh Lookout every year for the last 30 years, and I have never seen the air so clear over the city, normally the pollution created by all the cars, prevents you from getting a good view of the city skyline, it’s usually very hazy.
Now to give you an idea of distance, Skyhigh Lookout is 50 klms or 31 miles from the city, but on this perfect blue sky summer day, the air was amazingly clear, and I was treated to the best views I have ever seen in 30 years, of the Melbourne city skyline and the surrounding area.
Most people come up to Skyhigh Lookout to eat at the cafe and look out over the city, or to go for a walk down one of the forest trails.
Myself? I simply come up for the amazing view.
Thanks for watching.
