The Most Dangerous Hiking Trail in the World 👀 #adventure #shorts

Huashan Mountain is one of the five 'Great Mountains' in China. It's located in central China near the city of Xi'an. Since ancient times, there has been a saying that Mount Huashan is the most dangerous mountain in the world. Here you can experience the most dangerous hiking trail in the world. It's estimated that around 20 people each year die on the mountain.

Lushan scenic spot of China

Mount Lu or Lushan (simplified Chinese: 庐山; traditional Chinese: 廬山; pinyin: Lúshān, Gan: Lu-san), also known as Kuanglu (匡庐) in ancient times, is situated in the northern part of Jiangxi province in Central China, and is one of the most renowned mountains in the country. It is located primarily in Lushan county-level city in Jiujiang Prefecture, although the northern portions are found in Lianxi District which was formerly known as Lushan District and until 2016 covered the majority of the Mount Lu. The oval-shaped mountains are about 25 km long and 10 km wide, and neighbors Jiujiang city and the Yangtze River to the north, Nanchang city to the south, and Poyang Lake to the east. Its highest point is Dahanyang Peak (大汉阳峰), reaching 1,474 m above sea level, and is one of the hundreds of steep peaks that towers above a sea of clouds that encompass the mountains for almost 200 days out of the year. Mount Lu is known for its grandeur, steepness, and beauty, and is part of Lushan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996, and a prominent tourist attraction, especially during the summer months when the weather is cooler.

【Traveling in China】Zhongyue Songshan, the Root of Chinese Martial Arts
Mount Song is one of the Five Sacred Mountains, commonly known as the Zhongyue. The famous Shaolin Temple is located here. This is also the birthplace of Chinese kung fu. Today, let's explore the birthplace of Shaolin Kung Fu, Mount Song, the central mountain.

What to see at Huashan 华山 (Shaanxi, China)

Visited: March-2018

Famously known as the mountain with one of the world’s “Most Dangerous Hiking Trail”, Huashan (华山) is one of the Five Great Mountains of China.

There's 5 peaks on Huashan (North, South, East, West, Centre), with trails linking them all. Only 2 of the peaks are equipped with cable car service (North and West).

On the day of our visit, the longer/higher West peak cable car service was closed due to strong winds. Thus we could only use the North peak cable car to visit North Peak 华山北峰 (lowest of the peaks). With a kid in tow, it wasn't convenient to attempt the climb from North peak to the other peaks. Thus we only explored the area around North Peak, which itself is more than scenic.
