Brisbane City. Brisbane CBD is popular for chain fashion stores and luxe brands on busy Queen Street, plus the shady riverfront City Botanic Gardens. Brisbane City Hall offers historical photos in the Museum of Brisbane, and skyline views from its 1930s Clock Tower. The area is generally quiet at weekends, apart from the waterfront cocktail bars and seafood eateries around Eagle Street Pier, which draw an upmarket crowd.

Queensland rail travel weekend cooking masterclass.

The Pichi Richi Railway

PA-DVD-PICHI - The Pichi Richi Railway

When we think of trains we think of steam trains, those wonderful mechanical marvels that for more than fifty years huffed and puffed their way across the continent. Ride with us through South Australia's Flinders Ranges aboard the Pichi Richi Society's Afghan Express, the Pichi Richi Explorer and Steam Motor Coach One, affectionately called The Coffee Pot as our cameras capture the romance and grandeur of a bygone era.

Meet the Conductors, Guards, Firemen, Drivers and the dedicated volunteers whose passion for steam keeps these magnificent relics of yesteryear running on the rails. For lovers of trains and all things steam, this program offers the ultimate steam train adventure through some of the country's most beautiful settings.

The Pichi Richi Railway, preserving the past for the present and the future.

Alternate trains of the Brisbane Airtrain line connects directly to the Gold Coast Line during peak hours. It is part of the unified Translink network in Queensland.

Ep 31, Best of Family Fun in Canberra

We love to share all the great things for families to do around Australia. Find out more about the experiences and attractions in this video at

Trains without tripods_ Ferny Grove flyers.wmv

This at times shaky footage was shot entirely before I acquired a tripod, and shows several different trains visiting the existing Ferny Grove station, as a major reconstruction is soon to begin. A new bus interchange, an additional platform, duplication of 4kms of track from Keperra, and removal of the run-around loop and storage track, will likely mean no more steam trains to this part of the suburban system. Whilst the details are still being finalised, even installing points between the proposed dead-end platform tracks 2 and 3 to allow the occasional locomotive-hauled trains to swap ends is far too expensive to consider rationally in this age of inflation. Sadly, I missed the last steam train to visit on 6/3/10 due to other commitments. Thank you QR, thank you ARHS Qld, for all the memories.

Why You Should visit Canberra with Family & Friends👀😉

Some time in Spring break a 3 hours drive visiting the heart of Federal Capital Territory, Canberra the capital city of ACT. Thanks to our friend Vemar Manzanillo for inviting us to his son's Christening.kudos to my friend Fred for some of the footage.
hope you guys like the video.enjoy watching. Don't forget to hit the like button 😉🍻
