ऊटी दक्षिण भारत के तमिलनाडु राज्य में नीलगिरी की पहाड़ियों में बसा एक सुंदर पर्यटन स्थल है जिसे पहाड़ों की रानी (Queen of Hills) भी कहा जाता है। ऊटी का पूरा नाम उदगमंडलम (Udagamandalam) है। यह कोयंबटूर के उत्तर में 86 किमी और मैसूर से 128 किमी दक्षिण में स्थित है। ऊटी में बेहद लोकप्रिय पर्यटन स्थल हैं जिन्हें देखने के लिए देश के साथ ही विदेशों से भी भारी संख्या में पर्यटक आते हैं। आपकी जानकारी के लिए बता दें कि ऊटी में सर्दियों में दक्षिण भारत के बाकी हिस्सों की तुलना में अधिक ठंडी पड़ती है इसलिए पर्यटकों को जरूरी सामान और गर्म कपड़ों के साथ यहां घूमने आना चाहिए।

Nilgiri Mountain Railway and gives an exceptional journey to the foothills of the Nilgiris. Indian Railways have been prominent in connecting people for very long. However, this mountain train travel is going to be a little different.
2.Doddabetta
Doddabetta is the giant mountain in the Nilgiri Hills, at the height of 2637 meters. There is a forest zone around the peak, and it is 9 km away from Ooty-Kotagiri Road. It is the most famous tourist attraction with road access to the mountain. The Chamundi Hills can see from the peak.
3. Sim's Park, Coonoor
Sim's Park is park-cum-botanical garden, which laid more than a hundred years ago. Shrubs and plants surrounded by the yard. It built in the year 1847. It involves an area of about 12 hectares. Queensland Karry Pine, Rudraksha, and Handsome Ornamental tree are famous in sim's Park.
4.Catherine Falls
The St. Catherine Falls near Avenue is considered a two-step waterfall that comes down from a height of 76 meters. This waterfall has both lower and upper falls. The falls are huddled with full, lush greens of the Nilgiris and are a natural location to observe the beauty of nature.
5. Dolphin's Nose
Dolphin's nose got its title because there is a stone matching, and it appears like Dolphin's nose and later named Dolphin's Nose viewpoint. It is a famous tourist spot in Coonoor. It is placed at a distance of 12km away from the Coonoor city. It is near to the Tiger hills. From this viewpoint, you can see the St.Catherine falls standing on the top site.
6.Kattery park
Kattery Park is partly in protection. Infrastructure facilities like a water fountain, park canteen, etc. are available to entertain the visiting people. The officials of the Park create awareness regarding the maintenance of the ecosystem and gardening to the public, tourists, students, and visitors visiting the Park. It's the perfect place for education and entertainment.
7.Tiger Hill
While we always talk about the complete views of sunrise from Tiger Hill and the look of the vast Kanchenjunga with several other flurries of snow clad eastern Himalayan mountains from here, but we hardly talk about the peak of Tiger Hill itself. True that the blaze of rapidly varying colors of the snow peaks as the sun strikes is a beautiful view, but Tiger Hill is great even otherwise.
8.Wellington Lake
Wellington Lake is an exciting place. The lake is a landmark in the Pike National Forest, but there is surprisingly little information online. The lake is personally owned and managed by Castle Mountain Recreation and not run by the National Forest Service. Castle Mountain owns a large campground and some small hiking trails, but these trails do not connect to the more massive Buffalo Creek Recreation Area trails nor the Lost Creek Wilderness Area trails.
9.Ralliah Dam
Ralliah dam located in Wellington Road and most people are not aware of this place. It's hidden in the forest. You need to trek 1 km from the parking area to reach that dam since there is no proper road for vehicles. You can spot out Bison or Malabar squirrels in this place. The best time to visit this place in the Monsoon season.
10.Katary Water Falls
Katary Falls is the third-largest waterfall in the Nilgiris District. This 180-feet high fall draws visitors as it is the site of Kateri Hydroelectric System, India's first power plant that provides the electricity to the nearby areas.
