I Discovered the Hidden Gems of Webuye!Exclusive tour of Webuye Town in 2024.
Best Travel Destinations In Western Kenya
Kakamega County has some beautiful tourist sites in Western Kenya and you get to see a few of them in this video.
Webuye Falls
Also known as Broderick Falls or Nabuyole Falls, this natural resources located in just minutes from the town of Webuye, Kenya was once a beautiful place. It is no wonder that.
What I was not prepared for was the shear neglect that the place has long endured. Driving up on the roads was hell. The roads were almost impassable. You have to leave the car at a distance and walk the rest of the way.
What used to be paved roads no longer shows any signs of it. The only stark reminder of the place`s importance in history is the worn out sign of a Mugumo tree that was planted by the late His Excellency Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, our founding father, and the ruins of what used to be the Webuye Falls Resort.
