In March 2017, Rick and Andrea (confessed Travel Addicts) started a Facebook Group called Travel Addicts as a way to share their travel photos and videos not just with their own respective friend's lists – but with the world. Part of the reason was for bragging rights (I mean, that’s kind of the point of sharing photos, right?), but also to help answer questions to others about the destinations they have visited.

▶︎ Experience Chelan Without Fighting the Crowds!
This is one of the most amazing campgrounds I’ve ever visited. It doesn’t look like much but it boasts waterfront tent camping and the showers and bathrooms are always clean and stocked. Sites are relatively small but big enough for two tents, their picnic table, fire pit, and some camping chairs. With two docks for fishing and floating as well as the adjascent boat launch, you’ll be able to play with all your water toys on Wapato Lake! I would highly recommend staying here if you want to visit the Chelan area without camping in downtown proper.

This walking loop around the Wapato Access Greenway State Park on Sauvie Island is a great destination year-round for bird watching. This loop will take you to a viewpoint over a marshy area where you may see herons and various song birds, to Hadley's Landing over the Multnomah Channel, then around the north end of the park back to the car.

Lake Chelan is wine country here in the state of Washington. Between it's 50-mile long stunning lake, and over two dozen wineries, it's an amazing travel destination.
We partnered with Visit Lake Chelan and stayed at the stunning Siren Song Vineyard and explored Wapato Point Cellars (pronounced Wa-Paw-Toe), Cairdeis Winery, Chelan Valley Farms, and Tsillan Cellars for just a sample of what this region has to offer. Tsillan Cellars also gave us our adventure fix with an epic helicopter ride over the valley!
