My hometown of Bennettsville , S.C. which I moved from in 1985 when I went into the Army to Germany . I still visit about every 5 years since I now live in Las Vegas , NV and have a few friends and family in the area . It was a great town to grow up in during the 70's and 80's , but sadly the factories closed and people moved away . We were a close community and I know lots of people miss that . That is why we have such great memories of growing up here . When we were kids , we all couldn't wait to get out of this small town , but now we realize what we had was special .
Bennettsville , South Carolina is located in Marlboro County on the North Carolina and South Carolina state line , just south of Laurinburg , NC in Scotland County . It is about 2 hours from Charlotte , North Carolina and an hour and a half from Myrtle Beach , South Carolina . It is centrally located in the state , so not far from the beach or the Blue Ridge Mountains , Ashville , Maggie Valley , Chimney Rock or as we call it the Great Smoky Mountains . Also only a couple hours from Charleston , SC . Lots of festivals throughout the year in the surrounding areas and Southern Hospitality .

I-73 North Carolina, Greensboro to Randleman - ASMR Highway Driving
Early Sunday morning driving on I-73 from Greensboro, NC to Randleman, NC with very light traffic. This relaxing highway drive was filmed with a GoPro 9 and can be used as an ASMR video with no talking.

Interstate 73 (I-73) is a partially completed Interstate Highway in the US state of North Carolina, traversing the state from south of Ellerbe to near Summerfield through Asheboro and Greensboro. When completed, it will continue south toward Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and north to Martinsville, Virginia.
As of 2021, I-73 begins south of Ellerbe, in concurrency with I-74 and U.S. Highway 220 (US 220), to north of Asheboro. I-73 and I-74 travel north through northern Richmond County and into eastern Montgomery County. In Montgomery County, the Interstates pass between the county's eastern border and the Uwharrie National Forest. The freeway enters Randolph County and passes just west of Asheboro. In Randleman, I-74 splits northwest toward High Point and Winston-Salem. North of the I-74 split, I-73 passes over Randleman Lake, a reservoir formed by the blocking of the Deep River and passes into Guilford County south of Greensboro.
