Vyborg, a romantic Finnish, Swedish town in the outskirt of Russia which is 30 km away from the Finnish border. The town portrayed a great influence by the Finnish! The famous places you should not missed are the Vyborg Castle, the Olaf tower, and the Round tower. In winter, the Vyborg bay is frozen with traces of snow along the road. In summer, the town is famous for its park full of greeneries.

The Most Swedish City in Russia
In the northwest of Russia, on the shore of the Baltic Sea, is one of the most unusual cities in Russia - the city of Vyborg. This city was founded by the Swedes. For 730 years of its existence, this city from the Swedes became part of the Russian Empire, then Finland, then the Soviet Union, then Finland again, and then Russia again. Being a part of each of these countries was reflected in the architecture of Vyborg. We walked through the streets and parks of the city and tried to find surviving evidences of the city's past life.
