Our first camping experience in Australia. Alhamdulillah, it went very well. Even though it rained throughout our stay, but somehow, we managed to do all the camp activities including, charcoal BBQ, Wood fire, bush walking etc.
Few suggestions for those who are planning to go to a camp site for the very first time. Don’t be stingy on spending money specially on these 3 essentials. Buy good quality stuff
1 Tent ===== if you are a family of four then do buy a tent suitable for 8 persons. You need extra room to put bags and other stuff.
2 Mattress ===== self-inflating foam mattresses are light in weigh to carry, easy to fit in a sedan car and are ready to be used in 5 to 10 minutes. No pump required
3 Sleeping bag / blanket ===== we had both, but we only used blanket as I was wearing some nice warm clothes.

Zanthorrea garden nursery is mainly a Australian native plant nursery but they have arguably the best veggie patch and shaded plant sections I’ve seen in Perth so far, Huge kid playground & a bunch of wild native animals just randomly crusing around the nursery it really is an awesome little nursery to visit and would recommend to any Perth Gardner or even if you’re just visiting.
Protip: The twisting touring drive just up the hill is well worth the visit and also the bakery…
Swan Valley's West Swan Road
In this video, we’ll be going for a drive and walk tour of some of the great locations in West Swan Road and to see some beautiful scenery along the way. This road is part of the Swan Valley Food and Wine Trail in Western Australia (WA).
During the trip, we’ll be visiting a brewing company, a winery and a coffee shop which are all located along the same road.
The Swan Valley is only one of great destinations in WA. There’s just so many things to do here. There’s a variety of places to dine and to sample wines. The Swan Valley is approximately 25 minutes from Perth CBD and about 10 minutes from Perth Airport.
If you’re visiting Perth either for business or leisure, we recommend adding the Swan Valley in your bucket list for food, wines, nature and other fun activities.
