Maling Gorge is a beautiful park located in Xingyi, Guizhou, China. This National Scenic Spot allows you to trek through the gorge, along the river, and get fantastic views of several 100+ meter waterfalls, bizarre eroded limestone formations, and traverse several walking bridges across the gorge.
The gorge is located a few kilometers outside the city center of Xingyi but can be easily accessed by city bus or taxi.

The Fanjingshan (Chinese: 梵净山) or Mount Fanjing, located in Tongren, Guizhou province, is the highest peak of the Wuling Mountains in southwestern China, at an altitude of 2,572 m (8,438 ft).[1] The Fanjingshan National Nature Reserve was established in 1978 and designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1986.[1] The reserve covers a total area of 567 km2 (219 sq mi) and is a conservation area for primitive vegetation of the mid sub-tropic alpine region of western China. The rare gray snub-nosed monkey occurs only in a small region centering on Fanjingshan. It is also a sacred Buddhist mountain, a status it has held since the Ming dynasty.[1] Fanjingshan was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2018.[2]Buddhism
Fanjingshan is considered a sacred mountain of Chinese Buddhism, ranking just behind the Four Sacred Mountains of Buddhism. It is considered thebodhimaṇḍa (or daochang) of the Maitreya Buddha.[3] The influence of Buddhism reached Fanjingshan by the Tang dynasty at the latest, especially after Hou Hongren (侯弘仁) constructed the Zhangke Road in 639, which facilitated transport in the mountainous region, and local gazettes record the construction of several temples in the area.[3] More temples were built during the ensuing Song and Yuan dynasties.[3]

The Tongren Grand Canyon Tourist Area is located in the southern part of Daxing Town, Songtao Miao Autonomous County, near Tongren Fenghuang Airport. It is situated 25 kilometers from Tongren City and 35 kilometers from the ancient city of Fenghuang in Hunan Province. The river within the scenic area flows in a north-south direction, with the developed area of the scenic spot stretching approximately 10 kilometers from the outlet of the Maocao River Power Station in Daxing Town to the end of the Pinghu Tour. The elevation of the area ranges from 408 to 520 meters, with the altitude of the drifting river ranging from 408 to 428 meters.
The karst landforms have given rise to numerous canyons in the Wuling Mountain area, but the Tongren Grand Canyon stands out as the most representative and outstanding one. The river in the Tongren Grand Canyon originates from the Suma River in the Kerong area of La'er Mountain in Fenghuang, passing through Panxin and Miaowangcheng before converging with other rivers in Songtao to form the Maocao River. From the outlet of the Maocao River Power Station to the dam of the Tianshengqiao Power Station, the Tongren Grand Canyon boasts clear waters, magnificent rocks, lush forests, swirling mists, steep cliffs, caves, waterfalls, and captivating scenery.
The Tongren Grand Canyon Tourist Area is divided into three parts: the canyon, drifting, and Pinghu Tour. It combines steepness, seclusion, tranquility, vastness, uniqueness, and danger, presenting a fantastic natural landscape with pristine canyons, forests, unpolluted fresh air, and enchanting streams and waterfalls.

Don't Look Down! The Glass-Bottomed Skywalk in The National Mine Park of Tongren City, China
Skywalk in the National Mine Park of Tongren city, China, is the first such structure in the province of Guizhou. It's built next to a cliff-face and has a glass bottom so visitors can look down to see the sheer drop of the mountain. Walkway is over 1,000 metres long and is 100 metres from the bottom of the valley giving tourists unrivaled views. If you've ever wanted to walk next to a cliff-face then an aerial path in China will let you do just that. But be prepared to suffer a little vertigo as the walkway in the National Mine Park of Tongren city, Guizhou province, has a glass bottom. Built against the sheer drop of a mountain cliff, the sky walk is 100 metres from the bottom of the valley. It was the first cliff skywalk in the province when it opened in October 2015 and allows visitors to fully experience the scenery in the area. The structure is over 1,000 meters long and relatively roomy at 1.6 metres wide. It connects wooden sections of the walkway, which had previously been its place. And while some visitors are more than happy to go right up to the edge before looking down, others are holding on tight to the rocks.

(EN) Tongren County ( in the region previously known as Amdo is the capital and second smallest administrative subdivision by area within Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai Province, China. The county has an area of 3465 square kilometers and a population of ~80,000 (2002), 75% Tibetan. The economy of the county includes agriculture and aluminum mining.
The county has a number of Tibetan Buddhist temples, including the large and significant Longwu Temple of the Gelupa (Yellow Hat) sect. It is known as a center of Tibetan thangka painting. Rebkong arts where named to the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2009.
