Iglesia del Señor de Tila, located in the town of Tila in Chiapas, Mexico, is a historic and revered church that holds deep religious and cultural significance. This colonial-era church stands as a testament to the fusion of indigenous and Spanish influences, reflecting the rich history of the region.

The church's architecture is a blend of indigenous and European styles, with elements that showcase the unique cultural synthesis. Its facade is adorned with intricate carvings and decorative details that speak to the craftsmanship of both local artisans and Spanish colonizers.

Inside Iglesia del Señor de Tila, visitors are greeted by an atmosphere of devotion and spirituality. Life-Changing Week in Oaxaca, Mexico!! (Shocking Spanish Immersion Retreat)

I traveled to Oaxaca City, Mexico for my first Spanish Immersion Retreat and this epic week rewrote my future (A *must-watch* before coming to Mexico)
❁❁More info about this immersion retreat:

I've been living in Mexico for 5 years, so I thought I had a pretty good handle on the Spanish language before going on this immersion retreat with @SpanishandGo but WOW my Spanish leveled up like crazy!

Beyond language learning, it was a life-altering experience. Hopefully, I captured that in this Oaxaca Mexico vlog!

Our week in Oaxaca City, Mexico was filled with:
- Trying authentic Oaxacan food and drinks (Oaxacan chocolate, mezcal, tlayudas, mole, tejate, ice cream, street food, and more)
- Learning about how Oaxacan chocolate is made in a hidden factory
- Going to the maguey fields to learn the process of making mezcal and try it right next to the agave plants themselves
- The engaging daily Spanish lessons
- Beautiful Oaxacan architecture like the Templo de Santo Domingo and other historic buildings
- Surprising cultural experiences like little parades called calendas
- Free time to explore Oaxaca City

This Mexican town is SO COOL!!

We're on a quest to see what Queretaro, Mexico has to offer. Today's vlog brought us to the historic center, a local vineyard, and the magic town Bernal.
► Download CrowdVoice:

Looking for what to do in Queretaro? In today's Mexico vlog, we're in Queretaro, Queretaro ready to take advantage of the gorgeous 75-degree weather on this late July day. That's what brought us to a tasty breakfast at Pia in the historic center of Queretaro before going for a road trip to one of the many vineyards within a 1-hour drive from the city.

Our first stop is a local vineyard called Finca Sala Vivé by Friexenet. After having a few glasses of wine and exploring the vineyard, we make the 20-minute drive to the Pueblo Mágico (Magic Town) called Bernal. This town is so charming with artisanal products, handicrafts, walking streets, and the stunning monolith.

Today's video is sponsored by CrowdVoice, a calling and texting app that allows you to easily stay in touch with friends and family back home when you’re traveling or living abroad. You can download the app in the Google Play Store or iPhone App Store here:

► WHO AM I?

I am a Brazilian-American journalist living in Florida. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. I created this channel to share the beauties of the world... stuff that for so long I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life!

P.S.: The funny guy who appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American and he's actually camera-shy, that's why he's behind the camera most of the time 😉

Things that SHOCKED US about QUERETARO, MEXICO

Despite doing some research on Queretaro, we did NOT expect some of the weird, awesome, and crazy things in this city!
► Start learning Spanish with a free trial:

Santiago de Queretaro, or just Queretaro for short, is a colonial city located in central Mexico. Queretaro is the epitome of yin and yang with a mix of historic and modern, luxury and affordable, hot and cold temperatures, and other dualities.

We've been on the hunt for a new long-term home base after leaving Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo in October 2020 and thought Queretaro might be a good option for us. Of course, before locking down an apartment, we had to visit and explore the city. Despite all the research we did before arriving, there was a LOT that shocked us about Queretaro. A few things we'll be sharing in this Mexico vlog include:
- The cleanliness of Queretaro
- Various ethnicities we found here
- What the neighborhoods of Queretaro are like
- The cost of living in Queretaro (is it too expensive?)
- What the appropriate dress code is
- The prevalence of street dogs
- and more

Recently we visited a vineyard 1 hour outside Queretaro. That video is We did NOT expect this when MOVING TO MEXICO
