The city of Thunder Bay, Ontario is often looked at as the far north of Ontario. Separated by the province’s most populous cities by some of the world’s largest lakes, getting to Thunder Bay from areas such as Toronto and Ottawa is an undertaking, to say the least. This area of the province has, hands-down, some of the most beautiful landscape in Ontario, and even holds its own among the most awe-inspiring places in Canada.

Canadian Adventures | Exploring Thunder Bay to Wawa | Lake Superior Circle Tour
We are exploring the northern region of Lake Superior in Canada. Our journey will take us from Thunder Bay to Wawa and we will show you the best things to do and see along the way. This is our third episode in the series as we travel on the Great Lake Superior Circle Tour. This series is more than a travel vlog - we will show you want to expect and the best things to see and do to help you plan an adventure of your own,
We start the day at the Terry Fox memorial and learn the story of this incredible human. With an amputated leg he ran a marathon a day for over 100 days as he fought to raise money for Cancer research. The adventure then takes us in search of Amethyst - you'll have to see where that journey takes us.
Our bear sighting was pretty incredible as were the views from Ouimet Canyon. We explore some of the less popular town like White River, Marathon and Schreiber as we look for stamps for our Circle tour map and seek out unique things to do and see.
Terrace Bay was one of our favorite communities as is home to Aguasabon Falls and Gorge, and the Famous Canadian Red Chairs.
We end the day in Wawa where we encounter both a moose and a goose.
Be sure and subscribe to the channel and follow along on the rest of the Lake Superior Circle tour. We are so glad you are here!
