Tholen, a nice old town in the South-West of the Netherlands.
Tholen is a 25,000 people municipality in the southwest of the Netherlands. The municipality of Tholen takes its name from the town of Tholen, which is the largest population center in the municipality.
The municipality consists of two peninsulas, formerly islands, the larger one on the south also called Tholen, the smaller one on the north called Sint Philipsland. The two are separated by the former strait, now bay, of Krabbenkreek. The municipality is bordered on the east by the Eendracht, once a Scheldt branch but now part of the Scheldt-Rhine Canal, crossed by three road bridges, by the Oosterschelde estuary to the south, the straits of Keeten-Mastgat to the west and the Krammer strait to the north.
The town has a small historical center partly surrounded by a gracht and partly bordered by a harbour for fishing boats and yachts.

Museum Paulina Bisdom van Vliet is located in a small town called Haastrecht, about 40 mins drive from Leiden.
The museum is an authentically furnished house where you wander from room to room seeing the most beautiful pottery, pieces of furniture, paintings, and lavishly decorated curtains.
As this place is less touristic, it really feels like you are visiting a wealthy family.

Dive spot Oesterdam (Netherlands)
Dive spot Oesterdam (Tholen, Zeeland, Netherlands) filmed using a DJI Inspire 1. First dive day of the season, with water temperature of 9°C and lots of sun. You can see the stairs that are the entry point to this dive spot. After a relatively shallow (5m) part that stretches out 10m there is a drop to about 9-11m. You con find an iron plateau full of sea life.
ZWARE REGEN EN ONWEERSBUIEN ONDERWEG ( Dordt-Tholen EP 326 ( Yacht vlog)
In deze vlog vertrekken we uit Dordrecht en varen via de Dordtsche kil het Hollands Diep de Volkerak en het Rijn Schelde Kanaal naar Tholen.
De tocht begint met mooi weer maat het slaat onderweg helemaal om .
We krijgen te maken met zware regen en onweersbuien op het Rijn Schelde Kanaal.
Op het kanaal varen we de Scouting voorbij , waar wij echt mee te doen hebben.
Aangekomen in Tholen krijgt erik een lift van Cor om even boodschappen te doen.
We melden ons bij de havenmeester en gaan later nog even koffie drinken bij Cor aan boord.
