Tepoztlán Morelos Mexico (THINGS TO DO & EAT)
Tepoztlan is a stunning Pueblo Magico located in Morelos Mexico. Tepoztlan Morelos is located just an hour and a half south of Mexico City and makes for a perfect day trip or weekend getaway.
In this Mexico Vlog we take you out in Tepoztlan and show you what to do in Tepoztlan. We start in the zocalo, then head to the market where we eat some delicious food, then stroll through the weekend open-air market before grabbing a mojito - a must do when you’re in Tepoztlan! We then try to climb El Tepozteco to see the Tepoztlan pyramid, but unfortunately couldn’t because it is closed so instead we opted to do an ATV Tour with Tepoztlan Adventures! We end the video trying some famous Tepoznieves in the plaza.

Qué hacer en Tepoztlan | La guía definitiva
En Tepoztlan hay muchas cosas que hacer, así que en ésta guía te platicamos las principales actividades que no te debes perder si visitas Tepoztlan este fin de semana.
Tepoztlan es un pueblo mágico de Morelos cuyo atractivo principal es subir al cerro del Tepozteco, sin embargo eso no es todo, en esta guía te vas a enterar de cuál es el mejor lugar en el mercado para comer verdaderamente sabroso, también te vamos a llevar al tianguis de artesanías de Tepoztlan y vas a saber cuáles son los principales conventos que debes visitar.
*El Tlecuil*
-Se trata de una cocina prehispánica ubicada en el corazón del mercado de Tepoztlan, es sin duda el lugar más sabroso para comer en todo el pueblo.
-Que no te intimiden los nombres ni lo poco común que puedan parecer los platillos que aquí sirven, todos son deliciosos. Es un tipo de comida que no encontrarás en ningún otro lugar.
*El Tepozteco*
-En la cima del cerro del Tepozteco, se encuentra una zona arqueológica que resguarda un templo antiquísimo dedicado a Tepuztécatl, un personaje mitológico del pueblo, señor del monte e hijo del espíritu del viento.
-Subir a la cima lleva entre una hora y media, así que ten listas tus botas y una botella de agua. Es un largo trayecto de subida que vale la pena realizar para disfrutar de la impactánte vista que se tiene de Tepoztlan.
*Exconvento de la Natividad*
-Es una imponente construcción del siglo XVI que ahora es un museo dedicado a las costumbres y cultura de los habitantes del pueblo mágico de Tepoztlan, su interior está en excelentes condiciones y ha sido declarado por la UNESCO como patrimonio de la humanidad.
*Las Tepoznieves*
-Las nieves más ricas de morelos tienen su origen aquí mismo en Tepoztlan, helados de sabores poco comunes pero deliciosos te esperan en esta tradicional nevería que no debes de dejar pasar cuando vengas de visita.
*La Santísima Trinidad*
-Un modesto templo católico que se encuentra sobre la avenida principal de Tepoztlan, la gente del pueblo le tiene mucho respeto a esta pequeña iglesia.

Hiking in Tepoztlán, Morelos... (it didn't go as planned!)
Today we hike to the amazing pyramids of Tepozteco! This is what Tepoztlán is famous for! Perched high on top of a mountain right in town, you can visit the Tepozteco Pyramid. This hike can be very difficult, especially if you are not used to the elevation and lots and lots and LOTS of stairs! The hike itself takes about 50 minutes with zero stops along the way (this counted as our workout for the day!) If you are walking at a leisurely pace and making a few stops along the way, I would budget the hike to the top to take about 1.5 hours. Note, bring a bottle of water for the journey :) Unfortunately, the pyramids were closed on the day we visited (perhaps due to Covid restrictions), but the hike itself was still absolutely worth the effort and I can imagine the views from the pyramid are incredibly breathtaking (perhaps literally?!) We read online that there are sometimes people at the top that will offer an extra unofficial tour to some other areas of the mountain for tips. The site itself also has an entrance fee, so bring some extra cash. On the way back down at the base of the mountain, there are lots of little stands selling itacates, quesadillas, meats, and tons of other goodies. This food was some of the best we had during our time in Tepoztlán and we highly recommend stopping here to eat on the way back into town.
