Places to Visit When in Bosnia | Where to Travel in Bosnia | City of Tuzla

Lets take a tour of Tuzla City.

Tuzla is the third largest city of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the administrative center of Tuzla Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The city of Tuzla is home to Europe's only salt lake as part of its central park. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tuzla is also regarded as one of the most multicultural cities in the country and has managed to keep the pluralist character of the city throughout the Bosnian War and after, with Bosniaks, Serbs, Croats and a small minority of Bosnian Jews residing in Tuzla. Tuzla is one of the oldest European sustained settlements. During the period of the Roman Republic (before the area was conquered by Rome), Tuzla (or Salines as it was called at the time) was ruled by the Illyrian tribe Breuci. It remained under Ottoman rule for nearly 400 years.

3 unbekannte Reiseziele Bosnien und Herzegowinas (Geheimtipps).Tešanj, Maglaj und Vranduk

👩🏽‍💻 Website :

Hallo zusammen,

Platz Nr. 1️⃣ SARAJEVO

Tešanj - Bosnia and Herzegovina (4K)

From my summer 2023 vacation road trip.
I drove first to Turkiye from Finland and then I went to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Whole distance for my trip was 8116km (taken with a trip meter), average consumption was 5.8L/100. I could recharge only 5 times in whole trip and 10 places I stayed over night, I couldn't recharge. It would have effect to that consumption quite a lot I think if I could have recharged my vehicle at every place I stayed. Also I recharged at least once to my car while driving and that also increased the consumption.

Sadly because it was mostly really warm sunny days and I used 2 channel recording, my dashcam overheated time to time and I couldn't save all nice moments and every beautiful places on my trip, but next time I will use one channel only and keep cold air blowing to the front unit to keep it as cold as possible. Also maybe next time I will take economical routes to get more beautiful places to my videos. Doing this still is great opprtunity to practice how to do these videos and how to use video editor what I have.

I hope that you will enjoy my jorney!

An Ordinary Village Day in Bosnia - 🇩🇪 to 🇦🇺: Day 51

We went to Bosnia and Herzegovina and visited a small village near Tešanj to see how life is on the Bosnian countryside. We stayed with a lovely local family who showed us around and allowed us to get insights into the everyday life in a Bosnian village of ~500 inhabitants.

About our trip:
We will travel from Germany to Australia avoiding flights where possible and reasonable. Instead we will use public (surface) transport (bus, train, carpooling/hitchhiking, boat etc.)
