Howrah is connected to Kolkata by four bridges, namely Vivekananda, Vidyasagar, the most popular Howrah and Nivedita. A walk along any one of these bridges is amazing and the views one can catch of the river Ganga, the dhows and ships floating in it are breath taking. The better aspect lies in the fact that each of these bridges are unique in their own ways.
The Vidyasagar bridge or setu is a cable stayed bridge which offers grandeur and height whereas the Howrah Bridge with its complicated network design is a cantilever bridge.

How to reach at Kulia, Amta, Howrah
By train: From Howrah, take any Howrah-Panskura or Howrah-Medinipur local train. Bagnan railway station can take up to one hour and fifteen minutes to reach. Locate the mazic rental car stand outside the Bagnan railway station. To get to Kuliaghat halt, rent a Majic automobile for only Rs.25.
By private vehicle - Kulia village is 73 kilometres from Kolkata proper and takes approximately 2 hours to reach. If you have a car, you must park it before entering the Kuliaghat ferry ghat. However, you can cross the river on your bike by paying a toll of 10/- rupees each time. To cross, everyone must pay a toll of 5 rupees.

Different Shades of Howrah Bridge Kolkata - The City of Joy
The Howrah Bridge is a balanced cantilever bridge over the Hooghly River in West Bengal, India. Commissioned in 1943, the bridge was originally named the New Howrah Bridge, because it replaced a pontoon bridge at the same location linking the cities of Howrah and Kolkata (Calcutta). On 14 June 1965, it was renamed Rabindra Setu after the great Bengali poet Rabindranath Tagore, who was the first Indian and Asian Nobel laureate. It is still popularly known as the Howrah Bridge.
The bridge is one of four on the Hooghly River and is a famous symbol of Kolkata and West Bengal. The other bridges are the Vidyasagar Setu (popularly called the Second Hooghly Bridge), the Vivekananda Setu and the relatively new Nivedita Setu. It weathers the storms of the Bay of Bengal region, carrying a daily traffic of approximately 100,000 vehicles and possibly more than 150,000 pedestrians, easily making it the busiest cantilever bridge in the world. The third-longest cantilever bridge at the time of its construction, the Howrah Bridge is currently the sixth-longest bridge of its type in the world.

Bargobhima Mandir, Tamluk is one of the popular places to see in West Bengal. It is one of the sacred saktipiths for the Hindus in West Bengal. It is one of the nice weekend spots in Tamluk, Purba Medinipur. In this video I have shown puja, anjali, bhog in Bargobhima Mandir after unlock.The opening time of the Temple is 7.30 a.m. and remains open until 1.30 p.m. It again opens at 3.30 p.m. and closes at 8.30. p.m.
The place can be visited as a great weekend destination within 100 km from kolkata.
There are other places near and around Bargabhima Mandir that we can visit in day tour package in Purba Medinipur.
One can visit Bargobhima Temple, Tamluk Rajbari and Mahishadal Rajbari in a one- day tour from kolkata.
This video will give a complete guide on what to see near Bargobhima Mandir, Purba Medinipur and how to reach Bargobhima temple and get around.
Tamluk Rajbari is 1.5 km from Bargobhima Temple and Mahishadal Rajbari is 17 km from the temple.
How to go around----
Kolkata to Bargobhima Temple Road…
Kolkata------Kolaghat----then take Haldia Tamluk Mecheda Road and then Tamluk Paskura Road.
Or,
Reach Tamluk bus stand and then take a toto from there and reach the temple .
Or,
By train, get down at Tamluk station and take a toto to reach the temple in 10/15 minutes.
From Bargabhima temple go to Tamluk Rajbari just 1.5 km away. Stay there 30 – 45 minutes.

Then come to Mahishadal Rajbari 19 km. from Tamluk Rajbari.
From Tamluk Rajbari take a toto and come to Tamluk bus stand. Then catch a bus (Haldia- Mechheda, Haldia- Gadiara, Haldia- Tarokeswar) and drop at Mahishadal bus stand. From there avail a toto for Rajbari Phulbag.

Tamluk Bargabhima temple in purba medinipur ,this Temple 1 pith place in india, তমলুক স্টেশন থেকে টোটো করে, ১৫ টাকা,,, আর আপনারা হাওড়া থেকে ট্রেন ও বাস পেয়ে যাবেন,,,, তমলুকে দুটি রেল স্টেশন আছে ।
যাত্রাপথ :- 1) দক্ষিণপূর্ব রেলপথের হাওড়া খড়গপুর মেন লাইনে মেচেদা বা পাঁশকুড়া জং স্টেশনে নেমে, সেখান থেকে বাসে (ঘন্টাখানেক লাগে) তমলুক হাসপাতাল মোড়! সেখান থেকে হেঁটে 15 মিনিট, টোটোতে 5 মিনিট! 2) হলদিয়া বা দীঘা গামী যেকোনো ট্রেনে চেপে সরাসরি তমলুক জং স্টেশনে নেমে হেঁটে 30 মিনিট, টোটোতে 10 মিনিট
