Safe and Affordable Towns in Tennessee
For the last few years, Tennessee has been experiencing an influx of new residents. Some of that is due to the lack of a state income tax, with many people coming from high-tax states. As a result, some of the more popular cities, like Nashville and Chattanooga have started to get expensive. There are however, some cities, that still have a reasonable cost of living, while also having a low crime rate. In this video, we're uncovering nine communities in the Volunteer State that are both affordable and safe.

Along the way, hikers can explore the mill ruins, learn about the area's history, and enjoy stunning views of the park's natural beauty. Visiting the Historic Sweetwater River Bridge
The Sweetwater River Bridge (or Steele Canyon Bridge) is a historic bridge on Campo Road in San Diego County that was built in 1929. Campo Road later became State Route 94 and the bridge was used for automobile traffic on the highway until 1986. Now the bridge, a national historic landmark, is one of the gateways to the San Diego National Wildlife Refuge and very popular with people who ride horses, hikers, and bicyclists. In this video we explore the bridge and take a look at its history.

Shelly S.'s Review on The Dyrt:
▶︎ Right next door
15 miles West of Atlanta, Ga off I20 Sweetwater Creek State Park offers history, trails, water activities and peace and quiet.
Realize there are limited sites. 10 Yurts for glampers and 5 walkin sites for tent campers. The walkin sites are in the woods but not to far a walk to the lake. Tent pads with picnic tables and fire rings, if you have a hammocks plenty of trees to use. Kayak....you will have to drive to a spot or portage. The facilities (showerhouse)look very new and is well maintained. Also keyed limited access for glampers and campers only. No day use which is nice.
The hiking is a mixture of trails and old gravel roads. There is a large loop to see everything that is intersected by shorter cross trails. Very busy down near the ruins, but worth the hike to see the area.
Watercraft rentals and fishing galore. Little crowded for my liking but not surprising with Atlanta so close.
