I drove from Moutai Town, Renhuai, Zunyi, Guizhou to Dazhou, Sichuan, China on September 24, 2020 (駕車旅行/自駕遊從中國貴州省遵義市仁懷市茅台鎮到四川省達州市). This trip passed through Guizhou, Chongqing, Sichuan, and took the Chongqing Ring Expressway (重慶繞城高速), Baomao Highway (包茂高速), etc.
Moutai town is in the north of Guizhou province, known as the production site of moutai wine and located on the southeast (right) bank of the Chishui River. It is under the administration of Renhuai City. Renhuai is a county-level city located in the north of Guizhou province, China, bordering Sichuan province to the west. It is under the administration of Zunyi City. Zunyi is a prefecture-level city in northern Guizhou province, China, situated between the provincial capital Guiyang to the south and Chongqing to the north, also bordering Sichuan to the northwest. Guizhou is a landlocked province in the southwest of the People's Republic of China. Its capital and largest city is Guiyang, in the central part of the province. Guizhou borders the autonomous region of Guangxi to the south, Yunnan to the west, Sichuan to the northwest, the municipality of Chongqing to the north, and Hunan to the east.
Dazhou is a prefecture-level city in the northeast corner of Sichuan province, China, bordering Shaanxi to the north and Chongqing to the east and south. Sichuan is a landlocked province in Southwest China occupying most of the Sichuan Basin and the easternmost part of the Tibetan Plateau between the Jinsha River on the west, the Daba Mountains in the north, and the Yungui Plateau to the south. 經專家研究論證，今遂溪縣江洪鎮的鯉魚墩貝丘遺址是距今7000年至8000年前新石器時代的人類居住遺址，是雷州半島最早有人類居住的地方。春秋戰國時期，今湛江轄地為百越境。秦屬象郡。漢元鼎六年（前111年），南部徐聞、雷州、遂溪屬交趾部徐聞縣；北部吳川、廉江分屬交趾部高涼縣和合浦縣。以後，南部三縣先後屬交州、越州、合州、南合州、東合州。唐貞觀八年（634年），改東合州為雷州，統管雷州半島三縣，直至清代；北部吳川、廉江先後屬廣州、羅州、化州，至明清屬高州。
1899年11月，法國政府與清政府簽訂《中法互訂廣州灣租界條約》，將雷州府遂溪縣、高州府吳川縣兩縣所屬部分陸地、島嶼以及兩縣間的麻斜海灣（今湛江港）劃為法國租借地，統稱“廣州灣”，劃入法屬印度支那聯邦範圍，設廣州灣行政總公使署，受法屬印度支那總督管轄。 1943年2月，太平洋戰爭時期，被日本軍隊佔領。

The Xuwen Ancient Port in Zhanjiang City was the earliest starting port of the Maritime Silk Road in the Han Dynasty. Zhanjiang's historical representative culture is the Leizhou culture, and some areas are also influenced by the Gaoliang culture.
Zhanjiang was a French concession in 1899 and was officially opened to trade. As the shortest sea voyage from mainland China to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Oceania, Zhanjiang is an important port city on the southeast coast of China and a national comprehensive transportation hub. It is one of the first coastal open cities in China and the headquarters of the Navy's South China Sea Fleet.
According to expert research and argumentation, the Liyudun Shell Mound Site in Jianghong Town, Suixi County today is a human settlement site from the Neolithic Age 7,000 to 8,000 years ago, and is the earliest place inhabited by humans on the Leizhou Peninsula. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the current Zhanjiang area was under the jurisdiction of Baiyue. It belonged to Xiangjun in the Qin Dynasty. In the sixth year of Yuanding of the Han Dynasty (111 BC), Xuwen, Leizhou and Suixi in the south belonged to Xuwen County of Jiaozhi; Wuchuan and Lianjiang in the north belonged to Gaoliang County and Hepu County of Jiaozhi respectively. Afterwards, the three counties in the south belonged to Jiaozhou, Yuezhou, Hezhou, Nanhezhou and Donghezhou successively. In the eighth year of Zhenguan of the Tang Dynasty (634), Donghezhou was changed to Leizhou, which governed the three counties of Leizhou Peninsula until the Qing Dynasty; Wuchuan and Lianjiang in the north belonged to Guangzhou, Luozhou and Huazhou successively, and belonged to Gaozhou until the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Yicheng City, a county-level city in Hubei Province, is under the administration of Xiangyang City. It is located in the northwestern part of Hubei Province, in the middle reaches of the Han River, with Suizhou County and Zaoyang City in the east, Nanzhang County in the west, Zhongxiang City in Jingmen City in the south, and Xiangzhou District and Xiangcheng District in the north. Fossils of cracked oyster shells dating to more than 7,000 years ago have been found in Suixi County of Zhanjiang, I'm guessing they were opened by ancestors of today's Zhanjiang folks. In 112, troops were sent by Emperor Wu of Han to quell local unrest, and these northerners didn't adjust well to the local climate, but they soon acclimatized after eating oysters. For those soldiers, the mollusks were probably treated more like a remedy than a delicacy, but when esteemed scholar-official and gastronome Su Shi passed by the peninsula during he was exile from Huizhou to Hainan, he found the oysters to be delectable to the degree of writing a letter to his brother Su Zhe about them.
据闻湛江遂溪发现过7000多年前就打开的蚝壳，估计是当今湛江人的祖先干的事情吧。后来在112年，汉武帝派下去平息造反的北方军人水土不服，把蚝当药服才克服当地水土。大文豪和美食家苏东坡从惠州到海南途中路过雷州半岛一带，吃过牡蛎后甚至给苏辙写信赞叹其美味。
