Our leisurely drive through the residential neighbourhoods offered a glimpse into local life. A chance encounter with a resident led us to the Flag Animal Farm, situated just outside Ballito. The farm's mission to rescue and provide a nurturing home for animals resonated deeply with us, making our visit truly remarkable. Generally Stanger, North of Durban has a Winter Fair every year at the beginning of July.
When I was a kid and as a teenager I used to love going to this especially for the cool rides and amazing food and of course spending time with friends.
Over the years it has come with new owners a slight change ever since Covid hit.
So today, after 7 years I shall explore the Winter Fair taste some yummy food!!!

In 2012, The Expedition Project embarked on a year-long trip around South Africa.
The purpose was to map out the shape of the country visiting as many towns and communities as possible along the way and in doing so, identify conservation and community projects supporting those communities.
The mammoth road trip was made possible thanks to 176 accommodation establishments that opened their doors along the route.

Prince's Grant Coastal Golf Estate is a hidden gem on the North Coast KZN. It was a very relaxing weekend of de-stressing from the hustle and bustle of daily city life. There are plenty of activities you can do within the estate aside from playing golf. The food at the Lodge's restaurant was superb! I highly recommend Prince's Grant and I will definitely come back for that much needed R&R.

S1 – Ep 377 – Hluhluwe – Unexpected Challenges and Surprising Moments!
Our visit to Hluhluwe was anticipated with excitement as we left from St Lucia, eager to explore the region. However, our excitement was met with an unexpected challenge as, dishearteningly, we were unable to access Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park due to disrespectful treatment by staff at the gate, prompting us to rethink our plans. Despite this setback, fortune smiled upon us, granting us a rare sighting of a passing train, a sight increasingly elusive in modern times. We sought solace and sustenance at the Ngweni Railroad Brewery & Cafe, which offered a silver lining to our day. Regrettably, our accommodation fell short of expectations, but fortunately it was only a brief stay. Our visit to Hluhluwe proved to be different from what we had envisioned, a mix of unexpected challenges and surprising moments. #DustBugs #adventuretravel #southafrica #southafricavlog #travelongravel #kwazulunatal #hluhluwe #stlucia
