Golden Ears Provincial Park is one of the largest parks in British Columbia. It is known for its beautiful, lush mossy forests. There is an extensive system of trails within the park for hiking. Alouette Lake is a popular spot for swimming, kayaking, picnicing, canoeing, boating and fishing. There are also 3 campsites in the park.

Golden Ears Provincial Park is a short drive from Vancouver and located in Maple Ridge. The short and easy Spirea Nature Trail is a family favourite.

Why Edmonton Is Seriously Underrated For Travel! Top Things To Do/Best Photo Spots!

We visit the highly underrated city of Edmonton where we show you guys some top things to do such as the University of Alberta's botanical gardens, Whyte Avenue, Geoscapes geodome dinner, and more! We also feature some of the best photo spots around town such as River Valley Overlook, Walter Dale Bridge, Muttart Conservatory, and more so much!

Detailed Edmonton 4-day summer itinerary:
📖

We visited the beautiful Kurimoto and Aga Khan gardens at the University of Alberta Botanic Garden, making for a romantic date with a lovely picnic box from the Patio Cafe.

Our long awaited trip to Elk Island National Park was made when we watched the sun set over Archer Island, projecting beautiful colours in the sky and calm water. Though we didn’t spot any bison, we did see an owl chilling on the middle of the road after nightfall!

Discovering downtown by e-scooter from YEG Scoot was the most fun way to get acquainted with the city and it’s many bike paths and lanes! Our favourite parts were definitely riding downhill on the zig-zag path at River Valley Overlook, as well as on the wide Walterdale Bridge. We didn’t hesitate to put our scooters in ‘sport’ mode for that one!

Our stay would not have been the same without The Matrix Hotel. This place has some stunning rooms and suites, and the Platinum Suites on the top floor completely wow’ed us! Some hotels might offer complimentary breakfast, but do they give you an executive buffet breakfast? The Matrix does!
