My friend Charlotte and I took an improvised trip and ended up in Simrishamn! It's situated in the eastern part of Skåne (Sweden's southernmost region) and is a very nice port city that used to be a fishing village in the time of the vikings. We had a walk around town, the beach and visited St Nikolai church.
After that we took a bus to Kivik and its musteri where they make apple juice, wine and other delicious products. All because of the Jojo Sommarkort (summer card) that lets us travel Skåne for free (price: 595 SEK, then unlimited travel on all trains and buses from 15 June - 15 August).

Island Ven | Sweden
Hey there, adventure seekers! Guess what? We recently embarked on an epic trip with our buddies to the beautiful island of Ven in Sweden. And let us tell you, it was a blast!
To get to Ven, we hopped on a ferry which is the only way to reach this island paradise. You can easily grab your ferry tickets at the ferry station and it is super convenient.
The ferry ride itself was a short 30 minutes. As we sailed across the sparkling waters, we couldn't help but soak in the stunning views and feel the excitement building up.
Once we set foot on Ven, we visited the legendary Tycho Brahe Museum. Tycho Brahe, was the astronomer extraordinaire who once called this island home. The museum is a treasure trove of his mind-blowing discoveries and mind-boggling instruments. We stepped into his world and were blown away by his astronomical genius!
But the fun didn't stop there. Ven had so much more to offer! We wandered along the beach, basked in the island's natural beauty, and enjoyed lunch at . It was pure bliss, a perfect escape from the daily hustle and bustle. As the sun started to set, we went to the final place of our trip which was a church that offered a very nice view of the entire island.
So, if you're up for an unforgettable adventure, make sure to add Ven Island to your travel bucket list. You won't regret it, we promise!
