In 1722–1723, the forces led by 🔔Khanthaji Kadani and Pilaji Gaekwad attempted to raid Sihor but were repelled by Maharajah🍁 Bhavsinhji Gohil. In 1723, he established a new capital near Vadva village, 20 km away from Sihor, and named it Bhavnagar after himself.

10 Victoria Park
Victoria Park was built in 1888 by Maharaja Takhtasinhji of the Bhavnagar city.
Here, bright flora, birds, butterflies and elusive fox population welcomes everyone.
one can easily spot birds like Bulbuls, Robins, Tailorbirds, Peacocks, Spotted Owl, Shikra, Common Peafowl, and animals like Nilgais, Foxes, etc. The biggest species found in this park are Leguminoceae and Poaceae.
There are 223 bird species, 15 mammalian species and 20 reptile species. Inside the park, there are some nurseries where one can see some unique variety of plants.
There are two water bodies inside — Gaurishankar lake and Krishna Kunj lake , where a number of migratory birds nest regularly.
a picnic site is also developed inside the core area of park with many benches, tables, & concrete block pavements.
Multiple types of accommodations are available nearby the park for tourists.

निष्कलंक महादेव – गुजरात – अरब सागर में स्तिथ शिव मंदिर – यहां मिली थी पांडवों को पाप से मुक्ती
गुजरात के भावनगर में कोलियाक तट (Koliyak Beach) से तीन किलोमीटर अंदर अरब सागर में स्तिथ है निष्कलंक महादेव। यहाँ पर अरब सागर की लहरें रोज़ शिवलिंगों का जलाभिषेक करती हैं। लोग पानी में पैदल चलकर ही इस मंदिर में दर्शन करने जाते है।
इसके लिए उन्हें ज्वार (Tide) के उतरने का इंतज़ार करना पड़ता है। भारी ज्वार (Heavy Tide) के वक़्त केवल मंदिर की पताका और खम्भा ही नजर आता है। जिसे देखकर कोई अंदाजा भी नहीं लगा सकता की पानी की नीचे समुंद्र मैं महादेव का प्राचिन मंदीर स्तिथ हैं। यहाँ पर शिवजी के पांच स्वयंभू शिवलिंग हैं। पांडवो को लिंग रूप में भगवान शिव ने दिए थे दर्शन :

Today, the Gaurishankhar Lake, along with the adjoining Bal-vatika, the Bhav Vilas Palace and a temple dedicated to lord Shiva.

Build in mid 19th century by a German architect Simsom for Sir Takhat Singh. Currently, this elegant structure is now converted into a heritage hotel.

Right in the centre of Bhavnagar city of Gujarat stands the Gandhi Smriti, which commemorates the life and service of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. Constructed in 1955 and attached to a tower clock, Gandhi Smriti is one of the most frequented tourist spots in the city.
6.0 Niskalank Mahadev Temple નિષ્કલંક મહાદેવ મંદિર
Nishkalank has many meanings like clean, pure, guiltless. This ancient Temple dated 5000 years old Koliyak, a village 28 kms from Bhavnagar, this temple is about 1.5 kms into the sea.
7.0 Velavadar Blackbuck National Park વેળાવદર બ્લેક બક નેશનલ પાર્ક
the park is home to the rare population of blackbuck, which are hard to find in India. Created in 1976, the park now covers 34 square km. Jeep safari and trekking is the best way to explore the best of Park.
8.0 Barton Library બાર્ટન લાઇબ્રેરી
One amongst the oldest library in Gujarat, the Barton Library was set up in 1882 with a small collection of 5000 books.
9.0 Khodiyar Mata Mandir ખોડિયાર માતા મંદિર
Situated in Rajpara area on Rajkot Road at a distance of 15 km on the bank of the beautiful Tataniya Wali Lake, stands the beautiful Khodiyar Mandir or Tataniya Dharo.
10.0 Trambak Falls ત્રંબક ધોધ
Arranged 20 km far from Bhavanagar downtown area Trambak Falls is an about thirty feet high straight fall with stone foundation.

Sihor city is almost 20 kms far from Bhavnagar and it is widely known as Chhota Kashi because of many temples.
