Dintr-un video RANDOM, a devenit un video interesant. Astăzi mergem ziua cu trenul pe M400 din Covasna în Harghita. Data e 10 Iulie 2021 și abia am început. După Brașov, acum vă filmez de la Băile Tușnad până la Siculeni și în viitor cine știe ce mai urmează.
Între Băile Tușnad și SIculeni sunt doar 37 de km care în realitate pare mai mult. Dar dacă îți place să călătorești cu trenul, nu te vei plictisi, deoarece glasul roților de tren și sunetul joantelor sunt și aici la ordinea zilei și pe unele porțiuni prindem și viteză. 🚄🚃😀

Harghita is a county located in eastern Transylvania (in the central area of Romania). The county seat is the municipality of Miercurea Ciuc. According to the 2011 census data, the population of the county is made up of 82.89% ethnic Hungarians and 15.94% Romanians, the difference being represented by other nationalities (about 1.2%).

* Saint Ann Lake is the only crater lake in Romania located in the volcanic crater of the Ciomad volcano of the Eastern Carpathians (near Tușnad) in the Natural Reserve of Mohoș, Harghita County (Romania). Palynology studies concluded that the history of Lake Saint Anne began about 8,800-9,800 years ago, at the stage of peat bog and shallow lake.
* Tusnad Baths is the smallest town in Romania, with a population of 1,617 peeps. It is located at an altitude of 650 meters in the southern reaches of the Ciuc depression, between the Harghita and Bodoc mountains, in the valley of the Olt, and is an important spa town.

Băile CIBRE Bath - Cibre Fürdő (Harghita County, Romania)

Băile Cibre (se pronunţă Ţibre) se găsesc la circa 13 Km NE de Miercurea Ciuc, între comunele Frumoasa şi Mihăileni (jud. Harghita), la poalele munţilor, într-o pitorească zonă depresionară denumită Cibre. Sunt denumite după vechiul sat Cibre existent în această zonă, sat care a fost distrus de către o invazie a tătarilor în 1694. În zonă apar mai multe izvoare de apă minerală carbogazoasă, bogate în bicarbonat de calciu. Ele au fost folosite încă din timpuri vechi ca apă de băut şi pentru tratarea diferitelor afecţiuni. În secolul 19 au funcţionat aici băi populare. Acestea s-au deteriorat în timp, însă au fost reabilitate în anul 2007 de către administraţia şi locuitorii comunelor Frumoasa şi Mihăileni. În apropierea băilor este meționată existența a două bălți cu plante glaciare relicte.

Calea ferata cu ecartament îngust de la Moldovița a fost construită de un proprietar de gater din Munchen, Louis Ortieb, și dată în folosință în anul 1888 pentru transport de masă lemnoasă de la pădure la gater.
În anul 1909 linia a fost preluată de la fondul bisericesc care a schimbat ecartamentul liniei de la 800 de milimetri la ecartament standardizat 760 de milimetri. Inițial, traseul mocăniței avea 23,9 de kilometri, de la Moldovița la Roșoșa, însă în decursul anilor s-au mai construit o mulțime de variante și tot sistemul a ajuns în anul 1987 cu înființarea porțiunii Râșcovei – Râșca dreaptă + Arsuri la o lungime de 73 de kilometri.
Linia de la Moldovița a fost folosită până în anul 2001 pentru transport de masă lemnoasă. Începând cu iulie 2005, linia este administrată de Asociația pentru păstrarea liniilor înguste din România, administrată de austriacul Georg Hocevar, cunoscut ca salvator al mai multor linii cu ecartament îngust din România. În prezent, linia are 10,5 kilometri.

Miercurea Ciuc is the county seat of Harghita County, Romania. It lies in the Székely Land, a mainly Hungarian-speaking ethno-cultural region in eastern Transylvania, and is situated in the Olt River valley.
The remains of three Dacian fortifications were found in the Jigodin neighbourhood of Miercurea Ciuc; they belong to the Dacian culture of the 1st century. In the Middle Ages it was the capital of Csíkszék (Csik seat). Between 1876 and 1918, Csíkszereda was the seat of Csík County of the historical Szeklerland in the Kingdom of Hungary. After the Treaty of Trianon in 1920, it became part of Kingdom of Romania, and was seat of the Ciuc County between 1927 and 1938.
Miercurea Ciuc became part of Hungary again between 1940 and 1944 as a result of the Second Vienna Award. In 1944, the Soviet Red Army captured the town. It was returned to Romania in 1945, a move confirmed by the Paris Peace Treaties of 1947. Between 1952 and 1960, the town was part of the Magyar Autonomous Region, later named the Mureș-Magyar Autonomous Region between 1960 and 1968. In 1968, Miercurea Ciuc became the county seat of Harghita.
In the post-World War II period, the town was industrialized; among other projects, a tractor factory, a textile factory and, in the 1960s, a beer factory were built here. The factory is now owned by Heineken. The Ciuc Beer products have gained an increasing popularity in Romania.

Căile Ferate Române (abbreviated as CFR) is the official designation of the state railway carrier of Romania. The railway network of Romania consists of 11,380 km (7,070 mi), of which 3,971 km (2,467 mi) (34.9%) are electrified, and the total track length is 22,247 km (13,824 mi), of which 8,585 km (5,334 mi) (38.5%) are electrified. The network is significantly interconnected with other European railway networks, providing pan-European passenger and freight services. CFR as an entity has been operating since 1880, even though the first railway on current Romanian territory was opened in 1854.
CFR is divided into four autonomous companies:
CFR Călători, responsible for passenger services;
CFR Marfă, responsible for freight transport;
CFR Infrastructură, manages the infrastructure on the Romanian railway network; and Societatea Feroviară de Turism, or SFT, which manages scenic and tourist railways.
CFR Călători, the passenger service division of CFR, operates seven types of passenger train, both on Romania's territory, with rolling stock and locomotives, or internationally, with rolling stock. Also, CFR operates international trains on Romanian territory with its own locomotives. The train types vary in terms of speed and type of rolling stock. In 2010, approximately 58 million passengers have traveled with the company. 10 million travelers have preferred private equity firms in particular on the side lines.

The Electroputere LE 5100, otherwise known as CFR Class 40/41/42 is a family of electric locomotives (separated by 3 classes) built for the Romanian Railways (CFR) for use on the Romanian electrified network. Over 1000 Class 40s were constructed by Electroputere (EP) under ASEA license in EPs Craiova Works from 1967 to 1991.
Entering service in 1965, the Class 40 also operated on private railroads after the repeal of CFRs monopoly on rail transport. The vast majority of all the engines are still in service, as of 2020, having become an icon for the Romanian Railways.

Lacul Fără Fund (Feneketlen-tó, în ungurește) este situat la marginea vestică a comunei Tomești (județul Harghita), lângă Băile Sfânta Ana (Szent Anna Feredő) și aproape de Biserica Ciuntită (Csonkatorony). Lacul este alimentat de un izvor carstic (calcarele apar în fundamentul prevulcanic al zonei). Manifestări postvulcanice asociate munților vulcanici din apropiere se manifestă prin termalismul apei și emanații abundente de gaze mofetice, preponderent în partea centrală a lacului.

Siculeni is a commune in Harghita County, Romania. It lies in the Székely Land, an ethno-cultural region in eastern Transylvania. The Siculicidium took place here.
The commune is composed of a single village, Siculeni. In 2004, four villages broke off to form Ciceu and Racu Communes.
The Siculicidium, or the Massacre at Madéfalva of January 7, 1764 took place here. 200 Székely were killed by Maria Theresa's Habsburg army as the local Székely Hungarians refused to join as recruits the newly organized borderguard regiments. Following the massacre, a great number of Székely people began to flee the region crossing the Carpathian Mountains into Bukovina and Moldova. The massacre's Latin name is Siculicidium, traditionally written as SICVLICIDIVM. A monument in memory of the massacre was erected on October 8, 1905.

PĂSTRĂVĂRIA ALBOTA din Arpaşu de Sus
Ne-am cazat la complexul turistic PĂSTRĂVĂRIA ALBOTA din Arpaşu de Sus, Judeţul Sibiu, în minivacanţa noastră de săptămâna trecută in zona de MUNTE, când am făcut traseul Braşov - Fagăraş - Pătravaria Albota - Transfăgărăşan - Curtea de Argeş - Câmpulung Muşcel - Club Vila Bran.
Chiar dacă a fost a treia oară când am vizitat Păstravaria Albota Arpaşu de Sus, de data asta am făcut-o împreună cu copiii, în formulă completă, astfel ca experienţa a fost una mai specială.
Am ajuns spre seară la locaţie, ne-am cazat într-o CĂSUŢĂ DIN LEMN foarte chochetă, iar la cina am servit, aşa cum era de aşteptat, preparate din PĂSTRĂV, cum ar fi ICRE DE PEŞTE, PEŞTE LA GRĂTAR, PĂSTRAV LA GRĂTAR sau PĂSTRĂV PANE, etc.
A doua zi, după ce am servit micul dejun, care este bufet suedez, ne-am plimbat cam peste tot în COMPLEXUL TURISTIC PĂSTRĂVĂRIA ALBOTA, asta însemnând bazinele cu PEŞTE, PĂSTRĂV ŞI STURION (apropo, se poate pescui, iar peştele prins este cântărit şi poţi să-l plăteşti ca să-l iei acasă eviscerat), zonele de agrement, terasa, piscina, campingul şi plantaţiile de zmeură, coacăze negre, coacăze roşii, mure şi afine.
CÂT COSTă CAZAREA LA PĂSTRĂVĂRIA ALBOTA?
Am plătit 275 lei / noapte pentru CĂSUŢA DIN LEMN, care avea tot ce-i trebuie (camera 4x4m, tv, baie utilată complet, verandă pentru cafeaua de dimineaţă). În preţul cazării a fost inclus şi micul dejun.
Băile Tuşnad, Harghita!
În cheile Oltului, la o altitudine de 650m, la poalele munţilor acoperiţi cu brazi se află Oraşul Băile Tuşnad. Localitatea situată în partea sudică a Depresiunii Ciucului, între munţii Harghita şi Bodoc, este cea mai mică staţiune balneară din ţară, fiind cunoscută până astăzi ca “Mica Elveţie”.
