Amazing hospitality of a Russian Family in Tomsk, Siberia
In this video, I explore the charming city of Tomsk, Siberia, and discover its rich history, friendly people, and delicious traditional dish, Blini. The city has stunning wooden buildings, some of which date back to the 17th century, showcasing their significance in Russian architecture.
Tomsk is one of the oldest towns in Siberia and home to six state universities that attract over 100,000 students from all over the world. During my visit, Aleksei, a college student from Tomsk Polytechnic University, graciously acted as my guide, showing me around the city. He took me to see the impressive 400-year-old Kremlin building and also introduced me to a local fast food center where we tried out the Sibirsky Blini, a delicious traditional Russian pancake dish.
One of the highlights of my trip was meeting Anton and his family, who introduced me to the art of making Blini, a traditional Russian pancake, right from scratch. They shared their tips and tricks for getting the dish just right, and we enjoyed the delicious results together.
Whether you're a foodie looking to try authentic Russian cuisine, a history buff wanting to explore the city's unique wooden architecture, or a traveler looking for a unique experience, Tomsk is a must-visit destination in Russia.
