Our exploration begins at the foot of the colossal Sasuntsi Davit Statue, a powerful homage to the Armenian epic hero. This awe-inspiring monument serves as a poignant introduction to the city's rich cultural heritage.
From there, we delve into the bustling Yerevan Railway Station, a transportation hub pulsating with the rhythm of journeys. However, a minor detour awaits - local regulations politely request us to delete footage of the metro station's interior.
Unfazed, we resurface at the Republic Square Metro Station, a gateway to the magnificent Republic Square itself. This sprawling central plaza, adorned with grand architecture and cascading fountains, embodies the very essence of Yerevan. A must-visit, Republic Square pulsates with life, offering a stage for street performers, artists, and locals basking in the warmth of the Armenian sun.
Next, we embark on a spiritual journey to the Saint Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral, Armenia's largest and a testament to the country's deep Christian roots. The intricate details and serene atmosphere within the cathedral walls inspire a sense of awe and reverence.
Leaving the cathedral's calming embrace, we find ourselves immersed in the vibrant chaos of the Vernissage Market. This sprawling open-air market is a treasure trove of Armenian handicrafts, souvenirs, and local produce.
From intricately woven rugs and hand-painted ceramics to glistening pomegranates and sweet pastries, the Vernissage offers a sensory experience that is both stimulating and delightful.
As the day unfolds, we pay our respects at Charles Aznavour Square, dedicated to the legendary Armenian-French singer. Here, amidst the city's energetic hum, we take a moment to appreciate the enduring legacy of this cultural icon.
To add a touch of local flavor, we indulge in a delightful strawberry donut (ponchik) – a local favorite – at the Grand Candy Cafe.

We spoke with a major TV network today, and once we translate the TV series “The Promise” to Hebrew, they will be broadcasting it all over Israel. It is our prayer that many will hear the gospel and receive the gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus. When we filmed this series we never even imagined that someday the Lord would use it to share His gospel to His chosen people. His ways are higher than our ways!

Itinatag ito noong 1574 at natapos noong 1598, na ginagawa itong isa sa pinakamatandang relihiyosong gusali sa Pilipinas at sa rehiyon. Ang mga prayleng Augustinian ay unang pinangasiwaan ang simbahan hanggang sa mailipat ito sa sekular na klero noong 1772 bago ibinalik noong 1854 sa mga Augustinian.
Ang simbahan ay dapat na pormal na itataas sa isang minor basilica sa Setyembre 10, 2021, araw ng kapistahan ni Saint Nicholas ng Tolentino. Gayunpaman, dahil sa patuloy na pandemya ng COVID-19, ang opisyal na solemne na deklarasyon ng pagtataas nito sa isang minor basilica ay ginawa noong Pebrero 16, 2022, sa isang pagdiriwang ng Eukaristiya na pinangunahan ng Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines Archbishop Charles John Brown kasama ang Arsobispo ng Nueva Segovia Marlo Mendoza Peralta (concelebrants) at Arsobispo ng Lingayen-Dagupan Socrates Villegas (concelebrants), at dinaluhan ni Archbishop of Manila Cardinal Jose Fuerte Advincula (homilist), Archbishop-emeritus ng Cotabato Cardinal Orlando Beltran Quevedo (na nagbigay ng mensahe), at anim pang obispo mula sa Northern Luzon. Sa pagtataas nito, ito ay tatawaging Basilica Menor de San Nicolas de Tolentino, Santuario de Santo Cristo.
Ang 400-taong gulang na imahe ng El Santo Cristo Milagroso ay nagbabahagi ng kasaysayan nito sa La Virgen Milagrosa, isang imaheng Marian na naka-enshrined sa Saint John the Baptist Basilica sa kalapit na Badoc.

The Santuario del Santo Cristo, also known as the Church of San Juan del Monte is a church and convento in San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines. The shrine was build in 1602-1604 by the Dominicans on land that was donated to the order.
It once served as a shelter by Katipuneros during the 1898 Philippine Revolution.
This church is located at F. Blumentritt San Juan City between General Kalintong St.
