inthestreet.it, Arte & Memoria's partner, makes these videos for the association, which promotes the artistic and cultural patrimony in Piedmont and in Italy.
It is represented by Barbara Ferrando, writer and photographer with a strong passion for art and history. Italy has an extraordinary artistic patrimony, and we discovered that many people know it only partially. We also discovered that many buildings are about to disappear and that a real inventary of these places doesn't exist.
We would like to introduce you to this world, by showing you not only the famous and loved places but also and especially those which aren't accessible, sometimes misterious.
The association will try to develope its activity by treating the sacred buildings of various kind and any religion.
You can support us by going on Tipeee, giving us what you like, even one euro.

Don't miss your train in Italy - Some crucial information if you are taking trains in Italy
Are you planning to explore Italy by train? If you want to ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey, watch this video now! Join Rick and Andrea as they share crucial tips to help you avoid the common pitfalls that can lead to missed trains in Italy.
In this short and informative video, you'll discover:
1. Look for the Train Number, Not the Destination: Learn why focusing on the train number displayed on the electronic board is vital, especially when the final destination may differ from your intended stop. Don't make the same mistake as one unfortunate traveler!
2. Arrive Early: Find out why arriving at the train station at least 20-30 minutes before departure is essential, especially in bustling stations like Milano Centrale, Roma Termini, or Firenze Santa Maria Novella. Discover the importance of allowing extra time for navigation within the station.
3. Buy Tickets Online: Explore the benefits of purchasing your train tickets online in advance, from avoiding long lines at ticket counters to securing better prices for high-speed trains. Rick and Andrea also highlight a recent change regarding Regionale train tickets purchased online.
4. No Waiting Rooms: Understand why it's not necessary to arrive at the station excessively early, as most Italian train stations lack waiting rooms. Discover alternative options for passing the time comfortably.
5. Stay Informed: Learn how to use the electronic board at the station to check train status and platform information. Get insider tips on when platform information typically becomes available.
Whether you're a seasoned traveler or visiting Italy for the first time, these valuable insights will help you navigate the Italian train system with confidence. Don't risk missing your train; watch this video and ensure a stress-free journey through the beautiful landscapes of Italy.

About us:
In March 2017, Rick and Andrea (confessed Travel Addicts) started a Facebook Group called Travel Addicts as a way to share their travel photos and videos not just with their own respective friend's lists – but with the world. Part of the reason was for bragging rights (I mean, that’s kind of the point of sharing photos, right?), but also to help answer questions to others about the destinations they have visited.
After inviting some of our friends and family, it grew and grew – and as of June 2019, the group has grown to over 200,000 members! One reason for our success, we believe, is that we have done our best to ensure only high-quality photos and videos get shared, all while limiting the use of commercial content.
