Depois de sair do Ushuaia fizemos nosso primeiro acampamento da volta pra casa pela Ruta 3, na cidade litorânea de Puerto San Julian. Uma lugar que contempla belezas naturais e carrega muita história. Ficamos no camping municipal que além de muito barato é bem estruturado e de frente pra baía de San Julian, de onde vimos um entardecer de tirar o fôlego.

Tras un año de preparación comienzo el viaje soñado rumbo a Cabo Vírgenes para iniciar, desde allí, la primera etapa del recorrido de la Ruta 40 que comprende desde Cabo Vírgenes (Santa Cruz) hasta Junín de los Andes (Neuquén)
Se puede encontrar mucha gente en el camino, pero encontrar a alguien que camina de Misiones a Ushuaia y que quiere formar una cruz en el mapa de Argentina con su caminata es único. Daniela está cumpliendo una promesa y nos cuenta un poco de que se trata.
Al llegar a Río Gallegos me voy hasta Punta Loyola a conocer el Marjory Glen
En puerto San Julian acampo en el Camping Municipal, muy cómodo y lindo camping. Tiene muy buen WiFi.

Río Gallegos, Santa Cruz
Río Gallegos (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈri.o ɣaˈʃeɣos]) is the capital and largest settlement of the Patagonian province of Santa Cruz in Argentina. Located in the department of Güer Aike, it has a population of about 98,000, according to the 2010 census [INDEC], a 24% increase from the 79,000 in the 2001 census [INDEC]. The city bears the name of the Gallegos River, and sits on its estuary 2,636 km (1,638 mi) south from the Argentinian federal capital Buenos Aires.
Established on 19 December 1885 to increase Argentine power over southern Patagonia, Río Gallegos became the capital of the then Territory of Santa Cruz in 1888, retaining its status when the territory became a province in 1957. Néstor Kirchner, later President of Argentina, served as the city's mayor from 1987 to 1991 and is interred in a mausoleum in the city's cemetery
