Video Esclusiva della Pro Loco Hercvlanevm, ente promotore turistico sito all' ingreso degli scavi archeologici di Ercolano.
Villa Ravone, meglio conosciuta come Villa Maiuri, costituisce un complesso storico-architettonico di rilievo all’interno del patrimonio di Ercolano. E’ espressione del liberty napoletano, ma si inserisce perfettamente nel Miglio d’Oro delle Ville Vesuviane. Essa è stata sede, fino al 1980, del prestigioso Centro Archeologico Internazionale Amedeo Maiuri. Ma da allora il complesso, abbandonato a se stesso, versava in uno stato di degrado ben lontano dagli antichi fasti. Il Comune di Ercolano ha pertanto acquisito la disponibilità dell’immobile dall’EPT (Ente Provinciale per il Turimo) ed ha restaurato e di recuperato il bene prevedendone un degno utilizzo nel quadro della valorizzazione dei beni culturali dell’area.
