1. Jerash Arabic: جرش‎ Ancient Greek is a city in northern Jordan. the city is the administrative center of the Jerash Governorate and has a population of 50745 as of 2015. it is located 48 kilometers 30 mi north of the capital city Amman.
the earliest evidence of settlement in Jerash is in a Neolithic site known as Tal Abu Sowan, where rare human remains dating to around 7500 BC were uncovered. Jerash flourished during the Greco and Roman periods until the mid-eighth century CE, when the 749 Galilee earthquake destroyed large parts of it, while subsequent earthquakes contributed to additional destruction. However, in the year 1120, Zahir ad-Din Toghtekin, atabeg of Damascus ordered a garrison of forty men to build up a fort in an unknown site of the ruins of the ancient city, likely the highest spot of the city walls in the north-eastern hills. It was captured in 1121 by Baldwin II, King of Jerusalem, & utterly destroyed. Then, the Crusaders immediately abandoned Jerash & withdrew to Sakib Seecip. the eastern border of the settlement.
Jerash was then deserted until it reappeared by the beginning of the Ottoman rule in the early 16th century. the census of 1596, had a population of 12 Muslim households. However, archaeologists found a small Mamluk hamlet in the Northwest Quarter which indicates that Jerash was resettled before the Ottoman era. The excavations conducted since 2011 have shed light on the Middle Islamic period as recent discoveries have uncovered a large concentration of Middle Islamic Mamluk structures and pottery. The ancient city has been gradually revealed through a series of excavations which commenced in 1925 and continue to this day.
Jerash today is home to one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities, which earned it the nickname of Pompeii of the East citation needed Approximately 330,000 visitors arrived in Jerash in 2018, making it one of the most visited sites in Jordan. The city hosts the Jerash Festival, one of the leading cultural events in the Middle East that attracts tens of thousands of visitors every year.
2. Neolithic age
the Oval Forum and Cardo Maximus in ancient Jerash
archaeologists have found ruins of settlements dating back to the Neolithic Age. Moreover in august 2015, an archaeological excavation team from the University of Jordan unearthed two human skulls that date back to the Neolithic period 7500–5500 BC at a site in Jerash, which forms solid evidence of inhabitance of Jordan in that period especially with the existence of 'Ain Ghazal Neolithic settlement in Amman. the importance of the discovery lies in the rarity of the skulls, as archaeologists estimate that a maximum of 12 sites across the world contains similar human remains.
3. Hellenistic period:
Jerash is the site of the ruins of the Greco-Roman city of Gerasa, also referred to as Antioch on the Golden River. Ancient Greek inscriptions from the city support that the city was founded by Alexander the Great and his general Perdiccas, who allegedly settled aged Macedonian soldiers there during the spring of 331 BC when he left Egypt and crossed Syria en route to Mesopotamia. However, other sources, namely the city's former name of Antioch on the Chrysorrhoas, point to a founding by Seleucid King Antioch IV, while still others attribute the founding to Ptolemy II of Egypt.
4. Roman period
After the Roman conquest in 63 BC, Jerash and the land surrounding it were annexed to the Roman province of Syria, and later joined the Decapolis league of cities. The historian Josephus mentions the city as being principally inhabited by Syrians & also having a small Jewish community. in AD 106, Jerash was absorbed into the Roman province of Arabia, which included the cities of Philadelphia modern-day Amman, Petra, & Bostra. the Romans ensured security and peace in this area, which enabled its people to devote their efforts & time to economic development and encouraged civic building activity.
Jerash is considered one of the largest and most well-preserved sites of Roman architecture in the world outside Italy. And is sometimes misleadingly referred to as the Pompeii of the Middle East or of Asia, referring to its size, extent of excavation, & level of preservation.
Jerash was the birthplace of the mathematician Nicomachus of Gerasa Greek c. 60 – c. 120 AD.
in the second half of the 1st century AD, the city of Jerash achieved great prosperity. in AD 106, Emperor Trajan constructed roads throughout the province, and more trade came to Jerash. Emperor Hadrian visited Jerash in AD 129–130. the triumphal arch or Arch of Hadrian was built to celebrate his visit.
5.Byzantine period:
the city finally reached a size of about 800,000 square meters within its walls.Beneath the foundations of a Byzantine church that was built in Jerash in AD 530, there was discovered a mosaic floor with ancient Greek and Hebrew-Aramaic inscriptions#kmho vlog.

Jerash Tourist info about Remains

Jerash, the Gerasa of Antiquity (Ancient Greek: Γέρασα), is the capital and largest city of Jerash Governorate (محافظة جرش), which is situated in the north of Jordan, 48 kilometres (30 mi) north of the capital Amman towards Syria. Jerash Governorate's geographical features vary from cold mountains to fertile valleys from 250 to 300 metres (820 to 980 ft) above sea level, suitable for growing a wide variety of crops.
In the latter Ottoman period, the city of Jerash's name was abandoned and changed to Sakib, yet this was not a permanent development, as the name Jerash reappears in Ottoman tax registers by the end of 16th century.[2][3]
A strong earthquake in 749 AD destroyed large parts of Jerash, while subsequent earthquakes along with the wars and turmoil contributed to additional destruction. Its destruction and ruins remained buried in the soil for hundreds of years until they were discovered by German Orientalist Ulrich Jasper Seetzen in 1806.[4] He began excavation and a return to life of the current Jerash by inhabitants of older villages. 70 years later, this was followed by the Muslim community, Circassians, who emigrated to Jordan from the Caucasus in 1878 after the Ottoman-Russian war. Subsequently a large community of people from Syria came to the area at the beginning of the 20th century.

Jerash is the site of the ruins of the Greco-Roman city of Gerasa, also referred to as Antioch on the Golden River. Ancient Greek inscriptions from the city as well as literary sources from both Iamvichou and the Great Etymology establish the foundation of the city as being by Alexander the Great or his general Perdiccas, who settled aged Macedonian soldiers there (Γερασμένος-Gerasmenos means aged person in Greek). This took place during the spring of 331 BC, when Alexander left Egypt, crossed Syria and then went to Mesopotamia. It is sometimes misleadingly referred to as the Pompeii of the Middle East or Asia, referring to its size, extent of excavation and level of preservation (though Jerash was never buried by a volcano). Jerash is considered one of the most important and best preserved Roman cities in the Near East. It was a city of the Decapolis.
Jerash was the birthplace of the mathematician Nicomachus of Gerasa (Greek: Νικόμαχος) (c. 60 -- c. 120 AD).
Recent excavations show that Jerash was already inhabited during the Bronze Age (3200 BC - 1200 BC). After the Roman conquest in 63 BC, Jerash and the land surrounding it were annexed by the Roman province of Syria, and later joined the Decapolis cities. In AD 90, Jerash was absorbed into the Roman province of Arabia, which included the city of Philadelphia (modern day Amman). The Romans ensured security and peace in this area, which enabled its people to devote their efforts and time to economic development and encouraged civic building activity.
In the second half of the 1st century AD, the city of Jerash achieved great prosperity. In AD 106, the Emperor Trajan constructed roads throughout the province, and more trade came to Jerash. The Emperor Hadrian visited Jerash in AD 129-130. The triumphal arch (or Arch of Hadrian) was built to celebrate his visit. A remarkable Latin inscription records a religious dedication set up by members of the imperial mounted bodyguard wintering there.
The city finally reached a size of about 800,000 square meters within its walls. The Persian invasion in AD 614 caused the rapid decline of Jerash. However, the city continued to flourish during the Umayyad Period, as shown by recent excavations. In AD 749, a major earthquake destroyed much of Jerash and its surroundings. During the period of the Crusades, some of the monuments were converted to fortresses, including the Temple of Artemis. Small settlements continued in Jerash during the Ayyubid, Mameluk[disambiguation needed] and Ottoman periods. Excavation and restoration of Jerash has been almost continuous since the 1920s.

2. Early Muslim period:
The city flourished during the Umayyad Caliphate. It had numerous shops and issued coins with the mint named Jerash in Arabic. It was also a center for ceramic manufacture; molded ceramic lamps had Arabic inscriptions that showed the potter's name and Jerash as the place of manufacture. The large mosque and several churches that continued to be used as places of worship indicated that during the Umayyad period Jerash had a sizable Muslim community that co-existed with the Christians. In CE 749, a devastating earthquake destroyed much of Jerash and its surroundings.
3. Archaeological Museums:
The archaeological site of Jerash has two museums in which are displayed archaeological materials and corresponding information about the site and its rich history. The Jerash Archaeological Museum, which is the older of the two museums, is found on top of the mound known as Camp Hill just east of the Cardo and overlooking the Oval Plaza. The small museum contains a chronological display of artifacts found in and around Jerash from prehistoric to Islamic times. The museum displays a unique group of small statues of a group identified as the Muses of the Olympic pantheon which were discovered at Jerash in 2016. The statues, which are Roman in date, were found in a fragmentary condition and have been partially restored. The museum also contains a well-preserved lead sarcophagus dated to the late 4th to 5th centuries and features Christian and pagan symbolism. The museum also has a number of sculptures, altars, and mosaics displayed outside.
A sculpted marble head of an elite woman with a hairstyle commonly associated with Julia Domna, wife of the Roman Emperor Septimius Severus. This late 2nd/ early 3rd-century head, made from marble from Turkey, was found in the 2016 excavations of the Eastern Roman Baths at Jerash, Jordan, &is displayed in the Jerash Visitor Center.
The Jerash Visitor Center serves as a more recent archaeological museum and presents the site of Jerash in a thematic approach with a focus on the evolution and development of the city of Jerash over time, as well as the economy, technology, religion, and daily life. The center also displays further sculptures discovered in Jerash in 2016, including restored statues of Zeus and Aphrodite, as well as a marble head thought to represent the Roman Empress Julia Domna.
4. Modern Jerash:
Jerash has developed dramatically in the last century with the growing importance of the tourism industry in the city. Jerash is now the second-most popular tourist attraction in Jordan, closely behind the ruins of Petra. On the western side of the city, which contained most of the representative buildings, the ruins have been carefully preserved and spared from encroachment, with the modern city sprawling to the east of the river which once divided ancient Jerash in two.
5.Education:
Jerash has two universities: Jerash Private University and Philadelphia University.#kmho vlog.

Nemihail sings the song Hasta siempre, Comandante or Hasta siempre

Original lyrics in Spanish

Aprendimos a quererte
desde la histórica altura
donde el Sol de tu bravura
le puso cerco a la muerte.

Chorus:
Aquí se queda la clara,
la entrañable transparencia,
de tu querida presencia,
Comandante Che Guevara.

Tu mano gloriosa y fuerte
sobre la Historia dispara
cuando todo Santa Clara
se despierta para verte.

[Chorus]

Vienes quemando la brisa
con soles de primavera
para plantar la bandera
con la luz de tu sonrisa.

[Chorus]

Tu amor revolucionario
te conduce a nueva empresa
donde esperan la firmeza
de tu brazo libertario.

[Chorus]

Seguiremos adelante,
como junto a ti seguimos,
y con Fidel te decimos :
«¡Hasta siempre Comandante!»

Kyrgyzstan issues Electronic Visa popularly known as e-visa for various categories of visa for Bangladeshi nationals willing to travel for a short-term visit. Kyrgyzstan e-visa is issued as a conditional authorization granted by the central Immigration authority to a foreigner to enter the territory, remain within, or to leave the territory before the validity of the authorization expires.

Kyrgyzstan e-visa allows an applicant to apply online with scanned copies of very few documents, get the visa processed within a very short time and get the visa online in the form of PDF/Doc file over email. Though Kyrgyzstan e-visa is a valid visa permit, it doesn’t guarantee the right to enter the territory of Kyrgyzstan. The immigration authority reserves the right to grant the final permission of entry.

Cox’s Bazar Vlog|

..Cox’s Bazar is a town on the southeast coast of Bangladesh. It’s known for its very long, sandy beachfront, stretching from Sea Beach in the north to Kolatoli Beach in the south. Aggameda Khyang monastery is home to bronze statues and centuries-old Buddhist manuscripts. South of town, the tropical rainforest of Himchari National Park has waterfalls and many birds. North, sea turtles breed on nearby Sonadia Island.
