The northeast region of Guadeloupe is spectacular and soooo much different than the mountainous region of Basse-Terre. This was an action-packed day where we were chasing the tide trying to beat it before the low tide came. We walked around this trail to Anse Belle Rose- Le souffleur. When it is low tide you can climb down and these caves have natural salt water pools in them. What an amazing site to see!

La Pointe Allègre en Guadeloupe
La Pointe Allègre de Guadeloupe est située sur la commune de Sainte Rose.
Mais faisons un peu d’histoire sur le lieu : c’est le 28 juin 1635 soit près d’un siècle et demi après la découverte de la Guadeloupe par Christophe Colomb que les capitaines de vaisseau français l’Olive et Duplessis débarquent dans le nord de la Guadeloupe à la Pointe Allègre.
Mais victimes d’une terrible famine la plus grande partie de ses colons est rapidement décimée.

En passant en voiture dans le coin de Débauché de la Ville de Sainte-Rose, j'ai aperçu ce cours d'eau que j'ai eu envie d'explorer.
Dans ce coin, il y a deux rivières, celle de Moustique et celle de Débauché. Je pense que celle-ci est celle de Débauché mais je ne suis pas sût à 100%.

Découverte Guadeloupe à la cascade de Bis 😍❤
Nous voilà partis découvrir la Cascade de Bis. Très bien située sur la commune de Sainte Rose, nous y accéderons par un petit chemin. On traverse une forêt luxuriante avec des cours d’eau. C’est une balade facile et un sentier de randonnée très agréable et assez simple sauf à un moment où il faut descendre une pente très raide mais une corde nous aide bien. Pour la peine, le spectacle à l’arrivée est magnifique.

Le Saut des Trois Cornes Sainte Rose en Guadeloupe
Nous allons partir pour la randonnée du Saut des Trois Cornes qui semble facile mais dans laquelle il vaut mieux être très prudent car ça glisse pas mal, donc le maitre mot sera d’être correctement chaussé. Nous sommes sur la commune de Sainte Rose au Nord Basse Terre. Cette cascade entrera facilement dans le top 10 des plus belles cascades de Guadeloupe.Pour y accéder, une randonnée en forêt d’environ 45 à 60 minutes vous attend.
En redescendant, un passage sous les douches d’eau sulfurée de la source de Sofaïa s’impose pour capter tout ses bienfaits.
