ST ANDREWS, NEW BRUNSWICK - ULTIMATE VISITORS GUIDE
Your ultimate guide to St Andrews, New Brunswick. Located in the southwestern corner of New Brunswick, St. Andrews is one of the province’s premier seaside destinations. It was established by the United Empire Loyalists in 1783, and by the 1800s it was one of the region’s largest seaports. SCOTLAND TRAVEL (2023) | 10 Beautiful Places To Visit In Scotland (+ Itinerary Suggestions!)
Scotland is the most northerly part of the four areas that make up the United Kingdom. It’s known for rugged landscapes defined by mysterious lochs, magical mountains, and gothic castles. Scotland also has a strong culture featuring Celtic music, traditional kilts, and sophisticated whiskies. In this video, we show 10 of the best places to visit in Scotland.
10. Edinburgh
Edinburgh is located in the south-east and it’s Scotland’s most beautiful and interesting city. This is the place to take in the unique Scottish culture, with a vibrant pub scene and intriguing historic sites.
9. Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park
Situated approximately 60 miles or 96 kilometers to the west of Edinburgh, Loch Lomond & the Trassachs National Park is the oldest national park in Scotland.
☑️ Boat tour Loch Lomond:
8. Glencoe Valley
Glencoe Valley is located in the Scottish Highlands in western Scotland. The area is known for its impressive mountain scenery, beautiful waterfalls, and trails that climb steep peaks, such as the Pap of Glencoe.
7. Glen Nevis
Located right outside the town Fort William, Glen Nevis is one of the most spectacular and beautiful glens in the Highlands. Above all, it’s home to Britain’s highest mountain: Ben Nevis, which is an impressive day hike.
6. Glenfinnan Viaduct
Only a stone's throw away from Glen Nevis and Fort William, the Glenfinnan Viaduct is a must-visit in Scotland! Made famous in the Harry Potter films, this 21-arched viaduct is set amongst some of Scotland’s finest scenery!
☑️ Glenfinnan Viaduct Circular Trail:

5. Inverness
Inverness is the northernmost city in the United Kingdom and is regarded as the cultural capital of the Scottish Highlands. Similar to Edinburgh, the city has a fantastic pub scene with great live music in the evenings.
4. Loch Ness
Located only a short drive from Inverness, Loch Ness is one of the most famous places in all of Scotland. The legend of the monster called Nessie goes back to ancient times.
3. Eilean Donan Castle
The Eilean Donan Castle is one of the most photographed castles in the world for a good reason. It’s perfectly situated on a small island with a charming curved bridge connecting it to the mainland.
2. Old Man of Storr (Isle of Skye)
Skye is the second largest island in Scotland and in our opinion, it has the most picturesque views you’ll encounter on your trip. The Old Man of Storr is the most iconic sight on the island and attracts many hikers and tourists alike.
1. Quiraing (Isle of Skye)
Quiraing is located on the Northern end of the Isle of Skye and boasts some of the best natural views in all of Scotland. The jagged landscape was caused by a landslip, which exposed strange rock formations underneath a large cliff.

New Brunswick Travel Guide (Canada) | Visiting Fredericton, Saint Andrews, Fundy & Hopewell Rocks
Come join us for our New Brunswick Travel Guide as we visit this beautiful province in maritimes of Canada visiting Fredericton, Saint Andrews, Fundy National Park and the Hopewell Rocks.
We kick things off in Fredericton, where my parents live, playing tourist by visiting the historic downtown centre, city hall, pedway, lighthouse, Odell park and legislative building as well as walking along Waterloo Row to see some historic mansions and the Fredericton Railway Bridge (pedestrian walking bridge) to grab lunch and beers at Picaroons Roundhouse.
From Fredericton we continued our road trip by heading south to visit Saint Andrews. Beautifully situated along the coast this is one of the most scenic towns in New Brunswick and great place to go boating and/or whale watching. Although we just visited briefly we really enjoyed our fish and chips and assorted seafood platter lunch and walk along the beach.
We continued onward to Fundy National Park where we set up base in a beautiful cabin located in Cape Enrage nearby Alma. From here we did several days worth of exploring Fundy National Park visiting lakes, hiking trails, beaches, rivers and more. Togo especially loved the opportunity to splash around as much as he could.
Our final stop visiting New Brunswick was at Hopewell Rocks - the most iconic attraction in the province. Having a chance to visit with beautiful weather and before the crowds descended was the perfect ending to our time in New Brunswick. If you're looking for an underrated Province to visit in Canada look no further than New Brunswick. This province has so much to offer and is well off the typical tourist radar.

New Brunswick Travel Guide (Canada) | Visiting Fredericton, Saint Andrews, Fundy National Park & Hopewell Rocks:
Today we’re going to be taking you on our family road trip across New Brunswick! After two days driving across Ontario and Quebec, we finally arrived at our destination: Fredericton, the capital of New Brunswick. We show you Fredericton highlights, and then we’ll be touring the charming seaside town of St Andrews, hiking in Fundy National Park, and marvelling at the Hopewell Rocks on the Bay of Fundy, which is home to the highest tides in the whole world. We hope you’ll enjoy our tour of the province and now let’s go explore New Brunswick.
We took a break after all that food and drink, and later in the afternoon we drove to Odell Park so that Togo could enjoy a walk in the woods.
We showed my parents a few of the city landmarks stopping at Town Hall, the lighthouse, and the Legislative Building, and then it was time to hop in the car and start this road trip!
Our next destination was St Andrews, about a 2 hour drive away. This is a very picturesque seaside town where you can do whale-watching excursions, boat tours, and enjoy delicious seafood.
Because it was such a hot day, we also made time to find a beach so that Togo could splash around.
Then, it was time to hop back in the car and drive to our next destination: Cape Enrage where we had rented a cottage for the next 2 nights. It was about a 3 hour drive to get there with a few stops for the dog along the way. We had to cross all of Fundy National Park.
The following morning, we got an early start and made our way to Fundy National Park for some hiking. After a few days of driving, Togo was thrilled to be out in the woods leading his pack down the trails.
After a little snack on the picnic tables, we got back in the car and drove towards Herring Cove to give Togo a chance to play in the water. Alma is a small town located just outside the park, so they picked up some fish and chips with coastal views.
That afternoon, we continued exploring the rest of Fundy National Park and visited two different lakes. The fog was starting to roll in as we drove back to the cottage that afternoon, and shortly after, it started to rain. We were lucky enough to have a special visitor: this deer!
The next day was another early start because it was our last day in the province and we couldn’t miss the Hopewell Rocks!

The Golden Isles of Georgia consist of barrier islands, and the mainland port cities of Brunswick and Darien, on the 100-mile-long coast of the U.S. state of Georgia on the Atlantic Ocean. They include St. Simons Island, Sea Island, Jekyll Island, Little St. Simons Island, Sapelo Island, Blackbeard Island, Historic Darien and Historic Brunswick.
Mild winters, together with natural beaches, vast stretches of marshland, maritime forests, historical sites, and abundant wildlife on both land and sea have made the Golden Isles a travel destination for families, nature-lovers, fishing and water sports enthusiasts, golfers, and history buffs.
All the islands are located within McIntosh County and Glynn County, and make up the lower middle section of Georgia's eleven barrier islands. Annual mild temperatures average 68 °F, with July highs of 90 °F.[1] St. Simons is the largest, with a permanent population of 12,743 residents as of the 2010 census.[2] Curled around its north end and accessible only by boat is Little St. Simons Island—privately owned and maintained in its natural state with a small capacity guest lodge and cottages. Jekyll Island is owned by the state of Georgia and operated as a state park, with limited residential areas. Sea Island is owned by Sea Island Acquisitions, LLC, and is home to the world-famous Cloister resort and residential homes valued in the millions of dollars.[citation needed] Sapelo Island
The City of Brunswick traces its history back to early Colonial times, and the founding of the Georgia colony by General James Oglethorpe. From its earliest days, the port of Brunswick was important to the growth and economy of the new nation. In 1789, George Washington named Brunswick one of the five original ports of entry for the thirteen colonies.[3] During World War II, Brunswick hosted an important construction site for Liberty ships, and Naval Air Station Glynco, a major operational base for blimps.
The City of Darien traces its history back to the construction of Ft. King George in 1722, and later becoming of the second oldest city in Georgia, chartered in 1736. James Oglethorpe laid out the city plan for Darien, noted for its squares and grid pattern much like Savannah, which he also planned. Fort Federica on St. Simons Island was later constructed to protect the City of Darien and its important commerce.
Tourism is the most important economic driver in the Golden Isles, with an estimated 2.4 million visitors in 2014.[4] Other key components of the local economy include the Port of Brunswick, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, aviation support services, and manufacturing. Travelers to the area arrive primarily via Brunswick Golden Isles Airport and Interstate 95. McKinnon St. Simons Island Airport serves general aviation.

St Andrews - Scotland
See the best accommodation St Andrews is a former royal burgh on the east coast of Fife in Scotland, named after Saint Andrew the Apostle. The city is home to the University of St Andrews, the third oldest university in the English-speaking world, the oldest in Scotland and one of Britain's most prestigious. The University is an integral part of the burgh, and during term time students make up approximately one third of the city's population. St Andrews has a population of 16,680, making this the fifth largest settlement in Fife.
There has been an important church in St Andrews since at least the 8th century, and a bishopric since at least the 11th century. The settlement grew to the west of St Andrews cathedral with the southern side of the Scores to the north and the Kinness burn to the south. The burgh soon became the ecclesiastical capital of Scotland, a position which was held until the Scottish Reformation. The famous cathedral, the largest in Scotland, now lies in ruins.
St Andrews is also known worldwide as the home of golf. This is in part because the Royal and Ancient Golf Club, founded in 1754, exercises legislative authority over the game worldwide (except in the United States and Mexico), and also because the famous links (acquired by the city in 1894) is the most frequent venue for The Open Championship, the oldest of golf's four major championships. Visitors travel to St Andrews in great numbers for several courses ranked amongst the finest in the world, as well as for the sandy beaches.
The Martyrs Memorial, erected to the honour of Patrick Hamilton, George Wishart, and other martyrs of the Reformation epoch, stands at the west end of the Scores on a cliff overlooking the sea. ( source: Wikipedia )

St. Andrews and fishing villages of FIFE - Tourism Scotland, in 4K #Scotland #standrews #yeet
Did you know that historic Scotland has been divided into 7 kingdoms? The Kingdom of Fife is one of them. On this trip with TIMBERBUSH i travel thru small fishing villages of this kingdom. If you know novel about Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe, it has been inspired right here in Lover Largo Fife
Imagine that amount of stories and history hidden on this lovely coast of fife. Subscribe to my channel to support my travels.. I actually catch great weather with cheeky cold wind from the north sea and we finally arrived at ST. Andrews.
St Andrews is a gorgeous seaside historic town with the oldest university founded in the 15 century. I started my walk around St Andrews Cathedral was Scotland's largest cathedral. It took nearly 150 years to build and was consecrated in 1318 by Robert the Bruce. After the reformation in 1559, it suffered damage from storms and fires - which caused this cathedral to fall to ruins where its parts have been used to build other parts of st Andrews.
From the Cathedral, you can take a short walk to St Andrew's castle. Access to the castle is currently very limited but you can visit its museum, which is telling the story of st Andrews early days and historical events that happened here.
My last stop leads towards an old course, the oldest golf course in the world. You can find there many players enjoying their day but also iconic Swilken bridge - a small stone bridge well known for all gold fans.
i hope you enjoyed the new episode of my travels. And if i earn your subscription, like or share today - thank you
