Sabang - The BEST PLACE to find Working Girls in the Philippines - Puerto Galera, Mindoro.
Everybody knows what goes on in Sabang. That’s why expats come here. At least you know what you’re getting into here. It’s not like meeting girls on the internet where a lot of the time you don’t know whether a filipina wants to love you long time or short time and get paid for it.
As one of the restaurant managers revealed - approximately 99.9% of the filipinas staying temporarily in Sabang are allegedly working girls. Which probably even beats Angeles.
Jay, one of my viewers, told me he was in Sabang to dive, “definitely not a place to bring the mother -In-law or girlfriend or family.” He said. I say viewer not subscriber as after we’d met at a bar in BGC and Jay saw me put ice in my beer he said he definitely wasn’t gonna subscribe now. It was fine him having ice in his rum n’coke thou, just not in beer.
Puerto Galera, Mindoro houses the idyllic White Beach. As I’ve got older I’d rather be in bed early at night and up at daylight. A great start to my day is walking along the beach. White Beach is similar to Alona Beach, although the latter is monopolized by Dive Boats, when at 7am there’s a army of helpers loading the dive boats with gas canisters which make a pleasant clinking sound as they’re knocked against each other.
Mindoro island has been in my sights for a while now. Whilst scrolling through FB posts on good locations for expats to live in the Philippines, recommendations for Puerto Galera would frequently pop up. So it made sense to schedule Mindoro into to my plans with its proximity to Manila. I’ve got four more places to visit over the next four weeks.
After 3 nights staying in White Beach, I headed for Sabang Beach, beyond Puerto Galera town. White beach was a bit sleepy, even for me. Whilst staying there I was constantly reminded of The Specials song Ghost Town but I was visiting during October which is considered off season. Come back in December or January and it might be different. Or maybe not. The nightlife in Puerto Galera is apparently in Sabang.
I paid 1430 pesos online for Jack Daniel Apartments in Sabang. It’s amazing how you can pay the same price for a hotel room and have two totally different experiences. Then moved to Tropicana Castle for 1375 pesos.

[4K] Places to Visit When in BALER, AURORA: One of the Best Places in the Philippines | Mike and Ann
We had a short but fun trip in Baler, Aurora. We visited some of the tourist spots in Aurora like Museo de Baler, Dona Aurora Aragon-Quezon Replica house, The Baler Church, the well-known Ermita Hill and the Balete Tree located in the Eco Park.
We stayed in AweL SeaShore Inn located in Brgy. Sabang. The room rate is P3,000 a night good for 4 pax.
You can see the Sabang Beach across the Inn, so it was great!
On our first day, we just enjoyed the beach and late in the afternoon, we visited the Museo de Baler to witness some parts of the history of Baler, Aurora.
The next day, we went to the church, San Luis Obispo de Tolosa Parish, also known as Baler Church.
Across the church, you can see right away the replica of the house of Dona Aurora Aragon-Quezon. She was the wife of the former president of the Philippines, Pres. Manuel L. Quezon.
After that we ate lunch in Yolly’s Ihaw-Ihaw and Seafood Resto located in Quezon Highway corner Recto St.
Then back to the road to visit Ermita Hill, one of the well-known historical places in Aurora.
Before the end of the tour, we went to the Eco Park to see the Balete Tree. It is known to be the largest Balete Tree not just in the Philippines but in whole Asia! Can you believe it? It is humongous! Over 600 years and around 200 feet high!
There are a lot of places to go to in Baler, Aurora, and 2 days is not enough to cover everything! We will be back to feature the remaining tourist spots in Aurora and to enjoy again the beach!
Baler, Aurora has a lot of stories to tell! You might want to consider visiting it as well.
Baler is known to be the birthplace of Philippine Surfing!

Also: order down here is random, not to spoil the video :P
Also: there is more info about individual places in the descriptionboxes of the video’s I made about those places!
--BOHOL—
► Sleep at Guindulman Bay Tourist Inn:
Go see:
► Waterfalls of Candijay (can-umantad falls)
► Rice fields of Candijay
► Lamanok island tour
► Hike behind the hotel and see the amazing valley! Just walk the road inland from Guindulman bay tourist inn for 20 minutes or so!
--LINAPACAN--
I did my tour with Buhay Isla!
--PORT BARTON--
►Hotel: I honestly think there are so many new places, I do not dare to make a recommendation!
►Tours: Jeremy & Jake tours is the one I’d recommend! Did you know I made and organize their FB page? Just a fun fact! I made it cause I really believe in them!
--SIARGAO--
There are multiple hotels I can recommend.
►Surfing Carabao:
My favorite!
►Ocean 101:
►Kawili: (also for food)
►Tourcompany I used and recommend is My Siargao Guide (book with them through Bravo resort).
Other places to check out (especially if you rent your own bike):
►Pacifico, long drive but popular surf spot and beach
►Magpungko Rock pool, which is apparently very stunning when the sun is out!
►Tayangban Cave Pool
►Tak tak waterfall
--SIQUIJOR--
►Hotel: Garden Bungalows resort (loved it!)
►Tours I booked through the hotel. Though I would recommend getting a motorcycle and find the waterfalls, beaches and good spots all yourself!
--SIPALAY—
► Sleep in Takatuka resort (featured in the video):
►Take a tour to Danjugan Island (arranged by hotel)
►Tour the main attractions of Sipalay itself (1000 pesos half a day or 1500 whole day). Excluding fees along the way.
Including Perth resort (infinity pool), the cave, one more resort and special places along the way.
You can arrange this tour with Roland Dequina – rolandtours.wordpress.com or 09489358749
--BATANES—
Visit Sabtang, Batan and Itbayat.
►Batan hotel: Nanay cita’s Homestay:
►Sabtang hotel: ask to stay at the lighthouse!
►Itbayat: arrive and ask for the mayor or miss Cano (when I was there these were the only homestays)
►Tours Batan: there is a northern and a southern tour on Batan. Do both of them! You can fit them in 1 day but rather take 2.
►Tours Itbayat: do the general island tour but ALSO the sunrise tour! That one is the BEST!
►Sabtang: go for the standard half a day tour or sleep at the island and take the extended tour! :D Both are good, it depends on how much time you have.
--ISLAS DE GIGANTES--
No recommendings for hotels. For tours: do the island tour for sure! It’s the best out here, and very close to each other.
Also go for the caves and lighthouse if you have time to spare, otherwise just stick to the islands.
--SIBALTAN (EL NIDO)—
►Sleep in Tapik Beach:
You can do all the tours in El Nido from here, just ask at the resort. Also I’d recommend to do an island tour around Sibaltan, ask for the good corals! Mangrove tour is nice, only if you have time to spare.
--CORON—
Not found a specific hotel I can recommend here.
DEFINITELY do the ULTIMATE island tour! You’ll see the lakes and good corals, the shipwrecks and the islands. If you do Buhay Isla or an other Linapacan tour, ask what they already cover cause there might be overlap here.
Climb mount Dalara if you’re done with islands

No trip to the Philippines could be complete without seeing the spectacular Banaue Rice Terraces. Carved from the mountain ranges about 2,000 years ago without modern tools by the Ifugao tribes, these magnificent farm terraces resemble giant steps reaching up to the sky.

Underground River Tour | Sabang | Puerto Princesa | Palawan
By MCG:
One of the New 7 Wonders of Nature.
Have to admit, I never expected the Underground River Cruise to be a good experience.
I mean, I thought it was just some ordinary same old cave which is why I never thought about trying it before. Until I did.
This underground river spans around 8kms and only around 1+km are allowed for the tourists to navigate. Imagine that.
The cool temperature inside made me want to just lie on the boat and doze off after nearing the endpoint. 🤣

So you wanna know where to stay in Puerto Galera.
There are three basic places to stay where you'll find resorts in Puerto Galera.
Puerto Galera is a province.
First, there's Sabang Beach, which is 40 dive shops, 5 girly bars, and 24 hours of fun fun fun.
Another is White Beach which is a beautiful white sandy beach. Great place to be.
Here are a few things you can do if you decide to stop by White Beach:
==
1. Swimming/Snorkeling
White Beach is... a beach! Of course, you can go swimming in the beautiful clear water. You can also rent a snorkel and mask for cheap and explore beneath the surface.
2. See the White Beach dancers at night
You probably didn't travel to the Philippines for the ladyboys. At white beach, however, you can see some fun dance 'comedy shows' that are fun for everyone.
Sometimes the story will be about two women fighting over a man. Other times the dance will purposefully be more 'sexy' and less comedy.
3. Fire Dancers
When the sun sets on White Beach the fire dancers step onto the sand. The shows are great, and you'll even be able to take a picture with the dancers for a small tip.
This is one of the highlights of White Beach, and you won't want to miss it. Don't leave just because the sun is setting!
==
The third place is where we are, Badladz, which is located in Puerto Galera, the Port of Galleons, and this is basically in the center of town but still on the water. You've got all the services, you've got all the nightlife and you've got access to both those other places where you can party all night or you can go to the white sand beach.
