TOP 10 TOURISTIC SITES OF CAMEROON. #tourism #tourafrica #tourcameroon
Tourism in Cameroon is a growing but relatively minor industry. Since the 1970s, the government of Cameroon has cultivated the industry by creating a ministry of tourism and by encouraging investment by airlines, hotels, and travel agencies. The government describes the country as Africa in miniature, promoting its diversity of climate, culture, and geography. Cameroon's wildlife draws both safari-goers and big-game hunters, as Cameroon is home to many of Africa's iconic animals: cheetahs, chimpanzees, elephants, giraffes, gorillas, hippopotami, and rhinoceroses. Impediments to further growth of the tourism sector include poor transport infrastructure and corrupt officials who may harass visitors for bribes.
Tourists face several obstacles in Cameroon. Photography is difficult, since Cameroonians often resent foreigners taking photographs of things that outsiders may consider strange or that may cast Cameroon in a negative light. The government forbids all photography of government buildings and personnel, airports, bridges, and markets
Treatment of tourists by Cameroonian officials has improved as the role of tourism as a source of revenue has been emphasised by the government. Tourists once faced long, thorough searches upon arrival in the country, but these have become rare.
Still, police or gendarmes sometimes accuse foreign tourists of spying or carrying out mercenary activities.
This is especially true for tourists who visit sites off the main tourist routes or who opt for cheap accommodation or public transport (e.g., mini-buses) over fancier hotels and rental cars. Police and gendarmes at roadblocks may harass foreign visitors for bribes.

Dans de nombreux pays africains, une capitale est à la fois une capitale économique et politique. Ce n'est pas le cas du Cameroun. La nation a 2 capitales, qui sont ;

Travel Guide: Top 10 Things to do in CAMERON HIGHLAND, Malaysia
in this video I'm gonna take you to the best places to visit in Cameron Highlands, Malaysia.
1 - BOH TEA PLANTATION
Boh Tea is the largest producer of tea in Malaysia, with estates in Cameron Highlands and Bukit Cheeding (Selangor). The largests plantation sits at Habu in Ringlet next to its immediate neighbour Fairlie Garden, while Sungai Palas lies about 20km away in Brinchang. At Ringlet, visitors may access Boh via an exit along the main road at right towards Tanah Rata.
One of Cameron's favourite tourist attractions, the plantation features a colonial-era processing factory open to public, heritage tea center with shopping gallery and a delightful cafe that serves refreshments. A small hill next door provides a panoramic view point of the valley draped by lush tea fields, if you're willing to brave a steep climb. Boh Tea at Habu opens daily from 9am to 4.30pm except Mondays.
2 - FLORA PARK
Located in Kea Farm, Cameron Flora Park is only a 6-minute walk from The Sheep Sanctuary and less than a 5-minute drive from Copthorne Hotel. Every corner of this brand new garden will feature all kinds of colourful flowers, offering a visual treat for the eyes! Different walkways are available throughout the place for visitors to roam, snap photos and admire the gorgeous blooms.
The garden will officially be open to the public on 1 November 2021. If you'll be making a trip to Cameron Highlands by then, make sure to swing by and give your social feed an aesthetic makeover.
Take your visit to Cameron Flora Park to the next level by having an amazing picnic amidst a sea of beautiful flowers as your backdrop. They've got different packages like Family Garden Picnic Set and Dream Deluxe Picnic Set available so you and your family, friends or partner get to enjoy a fun meal together that consist of yummy snacks, desserts and savoury bites ?
3 - HIGHLAND GRILL AND CHEESE STEAMBOAT
The best steamboat Restaurant in Cameron Highlands, and it is halal.
4 - MOSSY FOREST
The mossy forest is a natural environment that grows only at the highest elevations of Cameron Highlands and other mountain ranges across Malaysia. At such heights, low-level clouds in the sky driven by winds, blanket the forests with constant mist and moisture - creating an ideal biotope for moss, ferns, lichen and orchids.
This moist tropical evergreen forest is also a rich repository for a varied set of montane creatures, encompassing insects, snakes, frogs, birds and mammals unique to this chilly atmosphere. Visitors may explore the mossy forest through a boardwalk 2km before the peak of Gunung Brinchang, accessible by road from the Boh Tea Sungai Palas intersection.
5 - SHEEP SANCTURY
The Sheep Sanctuary is located right in the middle of the busy Kea Farm market. There is a huge signage at the entrance with a cartoon sheep on it, chances of you missing them are next to none.
To visit The Sheep Sanctuary, you would need to pay an entrance fee of RM8 for adult and RM4 for children ages 4 - 12 years old. The entrance fee also includes a small box of food for you to feed the sheep.
6 - VISIT THE BRINCHAN LOCAL MARKET
he Night Market is a local bazaar that occurs every Friday till Sunday at Golden Hills, a residential and commercial development in Tanah Rata. Also known as 'Pasar Malam', this local weekend shopping attraction begins as early as 4pm and ends as late as 11pm, but rainy weather affects these hours. Originally based in Brinchang, the new location is accessible along the main road near Hotel Casa dela Rosa.
7 - TAKE SOME PICTURES AT SMOKE HOUSE
Smokehouse Hotel Cameron Highlands is located in Tanah Rata. Cameron Highland Golf Club and The Sheep Sanctuary are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Orang Asli Settlement and Mossy Forest. Cameron Highland Butterfly Farm and Ee Feng Gu Bee Farm are also worth visiting.
8 - PICK YOU OWN STRAWBERRIES
EQ Strawberry Farm is located at Kea Farm in Brinchang, located along the main road right after Copthorne Hotel. Nestled along a hill slope, the entrance descends sharply into a market place where visitors may peruse souvenirs, honey, crops, herbs, organic mushrooms, sugar-free jam and other local products. Further in, there is a small cafe that serves refreshments before the walkway leads to the farm area, open for strawberry picking activities. Open daily from morning till evening, the farm is free to enter.
9 - HIGH TEA AT CAMERON HIGHLANDS RESORT
Cameron Highlands, Malaysia: Mention 'afternoon tea' and the image conjured is one of gentility, dainty pastries on delicate china, warm scones, sweet strawberries and clotted cream, sipping copious cups of fragrant tea.
The English Afternoon Tea is priced at MYR 75.00 per person, MYR 130.00 for two persons, and is available daily from 3.00p.m. - 6.00p.m. Prices quoted are in Ringgit Malaysia, inclusive of 6% SST.

HELLO FROM LAGOS, NIGERIA -- COUNTRY #175!! ???????? I truly had a lot of fun making this video inside Africa's craziest and most populated city. Did you know that over 20 million people are living in Lagos?! It is hands down one of the most hectic, chaotic, and vibrant places I've ever been with a LOT of stories to tell. I'm overwhelmed.
My local friend and YouTuber named Tayo (his channel linked below) has been taking me all around his bustling city of Lagos and we've had an absolute blast together. Surprisingly, this was one of the hardest videos I've ever made because it's REALLY challenging to shoot content on these streets. People don't like being on camera here and they make a huge commotion in the streets and ask for money (etc) whenever they see it from a distance.
In any regard, I hope you enjoy this episode of my $10 series and get a glimpse into local Nigerian culture. More to come tomorrow! Nigeria is awesome!
