NICE - THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MEDITERANEAN TOWN IN THE WORLD

Nice, the jewel of the French Riviera, is a city that harmoniously combines Mediterranean elegance with a rich cultural and historical heritage. Located on the sunny shores of the Mediterranean Sea, Nice boasts lovely beaches, crystal clear waters and a famous promenade, the Promenade des Anglais, which offers spectacular views of the sea and nearby mountains.

Nice, the pearl of the Mediterranean Sea, is a city that perfectly combines natural beauty with cultural and historical wealth. With its famous promenades such as the Promenade des Anglais, the picturesque streets of the old town, and the stunning landscapes combining the mountains and the sea, Nice offers a complete sensory experience. It's a place where the sun shines over 300 days a year, turning every visit into a celebration of life.

Strolling through the Vieille Ville, the old town of Nice, you will discover narrow and picturesque streets full of life and colour, with vibrant traditional markets and well-preserved historic buildings. The bohemian atmosphere is complemented by charming cafes and restaurants offering Provencal and Mediterranean culinary delights, making every meal a memorable experience.

Ancient History: Nice was founded by Greeks from Massalia (today Marseille) in the 4th century BC. under the name of Nikaia, in honor of the goddess Nike.

Annexation to France: The city was annexed to France in 1860, following a referendum, as part of the Treaty of Turin, ceded by the Kingdom of Sardinia.

With a rich history and a modern spirit, Nice is a place where past and present blend harmoniously, offering visitors a memorable getaway in the heart of one of France's most beautiful regions. It is a city that seduces and inspires, leaving you wanting to return again and again.

Bohemian Bucharest tour - a city with history

Let me show you the Romanian capital as I've loved it. Street music, a big mix of history, culture, theatre, great AirBnb prices and good flight fares make it a great place to visit in springtime.

Will touristic and bohemian Bucharest survive the coronavirus pandemic?
I think it will recover, one day. There is one aspect that Bucharest and I share deeply - that city is a survivor, a phoenix reborn out of its own ashes, again and again.

Looking For Communist Symbols In Bucharest 🇷🇴

In this video, we are exploring Bucharest, Romania, on the lookout for brutalist architecture and communist symbols that are still so present everywhere in this city.
Communism fell in 1989, however many people are still nostalgic about a regime that, unfortunately, brought so much sadness in the lives of many who were the victims of the communist crimes.
