Cycling in southeast Slovenia (Rogaška Slatina - Olimje)
South Eastern Slovenia is perfect for cycling. The landscape contains a lot of smaller hills but the cycling path goes all around.The best period to come here is spring or autumn. It's a perfect combination if you want a good mix of relax because there are a lot of spa places and being a little bit active as well. We started our journey in Rogaška Slatina and we took the cycling path through Vonarje all the way to the monastery of Olimje. We continued by visiting The Land of Fairy Tales and Imagination and the Deer reef. Finally after passing the spa centre we decided to go back through the hills and even though it was 40km there's is so much going on on the way that the day really flies.

I'm from the US and have to admit - I had a lot of difficulty (and quite a bit of anxiety!) navigating the parking garages in Ljubljana. Wanted to share this video so that you feel prepared for your upcoming trip and know what to expect!
NOTE: This is for the parking garages only. Street parking and parking at some of the tourist sites and the airport is different.

Unfortunately, the weather stopped us from fully enjoying all that Slovenia had too offer. We fell in LOVE with Ljubljana instantly. With the rain forcing us back indoors, we have to make plans to visit Slovenia in the summer time to experience all that there is to offer. Sorry that this is not a long video, but i am sure the beauty of Bled will translate on screen..
