Located about 30 km or 18.6 mi to the south of Whistler, Garibaldi Provincial Park is known for its natural beauty and its endless hiking opportunities.

The Sunshine Coast is located north of Vancouver along the Strait of Georgia in British Columbia. It is a 180 km or 112 miles stretch of paradise, surrounded by sandy beaches and mountains.

Top 10 Scenic Lookouts near Toronto Ontario | Travel Canada 4K
We know that this might be a little subjective, but this is our top 10 scenic lookouts near Toronto (we consider 4 hours drive a maximum to be considered near).
If you are considering to travel to Canada and visit Ontario or if you are already living here, this list is a must-do.
10. French River Provincial Park. Located 3 hours and a half from Toronto, this lookout offers an amazing view of the Historical French River from a suspension bridge.
9. Dundas Peak. This is the closest to Toronto from this list, located only 1 hour away. Make sure you stop by the charming town of Dundas and also visit Tews Falls.
8. Scenic Caves Suspension Bridge. This lookout offers a magnificent view of Blue Mountain and Georgia Bay.
7. Lookout Trail. Located in Algonquin Park, this is probably the most easily accessible lookouts of the park; it looks spectacular all year round.
6. Track and Tower Trail. Also located in Algonquin Park, this trail is more challenging and requires going uphill for a while, but the view of Cache Lake t the top will leave you speechless.
5. Fire Tower Trail. This one is located in one of the most underrated and beautiful parks in Ontario: Restoule Provincial Park. We have only visited it during the winter, but I can imagine that it must be incredible during the autumn.
4. Indian Head Cove. Located in the Bruce Peninsula, Known erroneously by many as Tobermory, here you will be able to admire many scenic lookouts all around you. Lions Head is a must, but you have to drive 40 minutes from The Grotto.
3. Clifftop Trail. This one is only accessible by boat during the summer, but the yearly wait is worth it to be able to appreciate the beauty of Mazinaw Lake from above. Located inside Bon Echo Provincial Park.
2. Booth's Rock Trail. Located in Algonquin Park, this is our favourite lookout inside this majestic park. It requires a 5.5km hike in total, but you will never forget the view at the top.
1. The Crack. Located inside Killarney Provincial Park, this is our favourite lookout in southern Ontario. The view of La Cloche Mountain Range in the distance and OSA lake are something else. This is not an easy hike and requires sturdy shoes.
The Muskoka region is one of the places to visit in Ontario; here you will also find countless beautiful scenic lookouts. Hiking in Ontario is amazing.
You can go camping in most of these destinations in Canada.
We offer adventures all year, with different seasonal destinations. You don't have to be an avid hiker to join our adventures... we take it easy so you can enjoy your surroundings as much as possible! That being said, we also offer more challenging adventures and longer hikes for those who are looking for a challenge.

Top 10 Must See Spots On Your Rockies Trip
Save my 10 Must Visit Spots in the Canadian Rockies. These spots are all super close to Golden, BC, one of the best mountain towns!! All details for each location listed and make sure to follow @megmitchell123!
1. Emerald Lake
- Located in Yoho National Park, this lake is a true gem. The lake is located right next to the parking lot, so it is accessible to everyone. There is a lakeside trail that takes about an hour or you can just hang out by @emeraldlakelodge , eat at the restaurant or rent a canoe!
2. Abbott Ridge
- This is a hike in Glacier National Park that is 16 km return with a 1100m elevation gain to the top lookout, 13.6km if you take the short loop to the first viewpoint.
3. Takakkaw Falls
- This is a very short 10 minute walk to the2nd Highest Waterfall in Canada!
4. Hermit Trail
- this is an out and back hike in Glacier National Park. The trail is 7.4km return with an 830m elevation gain.
5. Kicking Horse Mountain Resort Grizzly Bear Refuge
- 20 acre refuge for it’s resident grizzly bear Boo. You take a chairlift to the refuge and the tours are super informative!
6. Eagle’s Eye Restaurant
- this is Canada’s highest restaurant and is located at the top of Kicking Horse Resort’s main gondola. Good food, drinks, and an epic view!
7. Kicking Horse Resort Via Ferrata
- hands down one of the funnest activities! You can choose multiple different routes that suit your comfort. This is a great intro to rock climbing.
8. Terminator Ridge
- you can hike to terminator ridge from the top of the gondola at @kickinghorsemtn or you can take the via ferrata!
9. Wapta Falls
- is a fairly easy 5km return hike in Yoho National Park. Impressive falls and free to go too!
10. Golden Sky Bridge
- An adventure park with Canada’s highest suspension bridge, a mountain coaster, axe throwing, zip lining and adventure course! Great for families too! @goldenskybridge
NOTE: you need a National Parks Day pass or annual permit to visit the sites in Yoho and Glacier National Park.
