This tour starts with stunning drone footage, followed by a leisurely walk along the iconic Copacabana promenade, where you'll experience the lively atmosphere, sandy shores, and vibrant local culture. From the daytime beach scenes to the bustling night market, this walk captures the essence of Copacabana's beauty and energy.
History: Copacabana Beach has long been a symbol of Rio de Janeiro’s vibrant culture and stunning landscapes. Stretching over 4 kilometers, it is known for its beautiful white sand and the famous black-and-white wave-patterned promenade (28:34), designed by Brazilian landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx. Since the early 20th century, Copacabana has been a hotspot for locals and tourists alike, hosting world-renowned events like New Year's Eve celebrations and international beach sports competitions. The sand sculptures (12:50) and lively night market (1:24:38) showcase the creativity and community spirit that thrive along the beach.
Tourist Tips:
Start your tour at Copacabana Beach (0:48) to take in the panoramic views of Rio’s coastline and the surrounding mountains.
Explore the unique sand sculptures (12:50) crafted by local artists along the boardwalk (15:06), which offers a mix of beachside activities and street vendors.
Walk along the famous Copacabana promenade (28:34), designed with a distinct wave pattern in mosaic tiles, and enjoy the lively atmosphere of beachgoers and street performers.
Visit the night market (1:24:38) to shop for souvenirs, local crafts, and enjoy the vibrant energy of Copacabana after dark.
End your tour with a peaceful stroll along the promenade (1:37:58), taking in the ocean breeze and the lights of the city.

More details about what you see in this Brazil travel vlog:
► Buzios: The official name of the city is 'Armação dos Búzios', but everyone just refers to it as 'Búzios'. This is a beach community in the state of Rio de Janeiro, and a popular getaway for Brazilians and Argentinians. Basically an unknown fishing village until the 1960s, it was made famous by French actress Brigitte Bardot.
► Rua das Pedras: Translating, the name means stones' street, and that's exactly what you'll see. More than that, it's Buzios' main street, with an active nightlife and a nice variety of shopping and restaurants.
► Orla Bardot: Named after Brigitte Bardot, this is the strip of land that connects Praia da Armação with Rua das Pedras, the main street in town. Brigitte Bardot is also honored along the oceanfront path with a bronze statue.
► Praia da Armação: This beach is located downtown, next to Rua das Pedras and in front of Orla Bardot. To this date, it is still full of fishing boats. Their old houses have been restored and are now lovely restaurants and pousadas. From this beach, you can get the boat tours to the various other beaches in Buzios.

► WHO AM I?
I am a Brazilian-American journalist living in Florida. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged the life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer.
I created this channel to share the beauties of the world... stuff that for so long I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life!
P.S.: The guy who occasionally appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American and is extremely shy, that's why he's behind the camera most of the time ;)

Cuevas del Rodeo, also known as The Cave Houses of Rojales, is a unique cultural and artistic community located in Rojales, Alicante, Spain. The area is renowned for its traditional cave-like dwellings carved into the hillside, which provide a distinctive backdrop for an eclectic art market.
The art market at Cuevas del Rodeo is a vibrant hub where local artists and artisans showcase their work. Visitors can expect to find a diverse array of handmade crafts, paintings, sculptures, ceramics, textiles, jewelry, and more. The market offers a wonderful opportunity to discover and purchase one-of-a-kind pieces directly from the artists themselves.
What sets Cuevas del Rodeo's art market apart is its charming setting within the labyrinthine streets and alleyways of the cave houses. The natural ambiance of the caves combined with the creative energy of the artists creates a truly magical atmosphere for both locals and tourists alike.
In addition to browsing the art market, visitors can explore the surrounding area, which is rich in history and culture. Rojales itself is a picturesque town with quaint streets, historic buildings, and scenic views of the Segura River. The Cuevas del Rodeo art market is a must-visit destination for art enthusiasts looking to immerse themselves in the local creative scene while experiencing the beauty of traditional Spanish architecture.

► WHO AM I?
I am a Brazilian-American journalist living in Florida. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. I created this channel to share the beauties of the world... stuff that, for so long, I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life!
P.S.: The funny guy who appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American, and he's actually camera-shy. That's why he's behind the camera most of the time 😉

Relaxing Video of the Rio de Vilacoba - Our Cheap Holiday in Spain
What is it about water that makes the sight and sound of it so relaxing? Falling rain, cascading falls, a gentle shower… it’s only in the extreme cases when water fails to relax us.
But it may be rivers that bring the most relaxation. Whether they’re rushing or gently bubbling by, the moving waters of a river makes us all stop our busy lives, pausing to just watch and listen.
Cheap holidays are everyone’s goal when traveling, and we sure found one when we spent six weeks on our holiday in Spain. Of course, finding free “attractions like this beautiful spot on the River Noia helps keep the price down. And the free tapas that show up every time you order a drink helped stretch our travel euros even further.
With pollution being an issue in most rivers, the Rio de Vilacoba (just outside of Noia, in Galecia) did not appear to be contaminated. The water was crystal clear and we didn’t see trash along the point in the river where we shot this video. I can’t speak for the rest of the rivers in Spain, but this one seemed free of the pollution found in a good many rivers these days.
I’m really getting into shooting these nature videos as part of my One Minute Memories. Occasionally, I shoot busy intersections or scenes with people. Heck, I’ve even shot several out of a moving train. But it’s the nature videos that keep drawing me back to the camera.
I like to shoot relaxing videos like this. And it’s funny: While I’m shooting the video, I’m anything but relaxed. I’m busy getting the lighting just right, hoping the wind doesn’t whip by the microphone, or wondering if I’ve counted off enough time to get to one minute! But when I watch it again, I find myself relaxing as the video plays, so I guess it’s done the trick!

BRAZIL BEACHES | Buzios Beach Resort - What's the coldest beach?
What I love most about Brazil: beaches! Buzios beach resort is a short road trip from Rio de Janeiro, just over 100 miles/160 km. In Buzios there are 23 beaches, very different from each other. In this vlog, I'll visit some of my favorites to try to find out if the water temperature really varies. The southside beaches receive the cold stream from Antarctica while the northside beaches receive the warm stream from the Equator.
All locations in this vlog:
0:40 - Geriba beach
4:08 - Ferradura beach
6:36 - Mirante do Forno
6:50 - Praia da Foca
7:19 - Mirante Joao Fernandes
9:54 - Joao Fernandes beach
11:42 - Armacao beach
12:01 - Ossos beach
12:19 - Azeda beach
14:14 - Porto da Barra, Manguinhos
To understand more about this beach resort, watch my first vlog in Buzios ►
In this trip to Brazil, I also visited Cabo Frio, a nearby city ►

Let me introduce my home country to you ❤️

More details about the main locations in this Brazil travel vlog:
► Buzios: The official name of the city is 'Armação dos Búzios', but everyone just refers to it as Búzios. This is a beach resort in the state of Rio de Janeiro and a popular getaway for Brazilians and Argentinians. Primarily an unknown fishing village until the 1960s, it was made famous by French actress Brigitte Bardot.
► Geriba beach: One of the most famous beaches of Buzios it runs for 2 kilometers (1.24 miles). With waves and an active ocean, it's perfect for surfing and wind sailing. It is surrounded by inns, bars, and restaurants and is a favorite of Brazilians.
► Ferradura beach: A modest beach with plenty to do. Calm waters entice families to spend the day and with plenty of stalls to service your hunger and thirst.
► Joao Fernandes beach: A beach with some of the calmest waters, it has easy access with plenty of accommodations on the surrounding hills. Any trip to Buzios should include a stop at this beach a 30-minute walking distance from town center.
► Porto da Barra: A complex of bars and restaurants on the shore perfectly situated to watch the sunset. Walk the jetty or stroll the beachside path and people watch closing out the day.

7 Cozumel beaches you've never heard of, but should visit | travel MEXICO
Cozumel is an island in the Mexican Caribbean, and you can expect many beautiful beaches here. We rented a jeep to drive around the island and discovered great beaches for snorkeling, swimming, or simply admiring the view. And they were all free.
Here are our stops:
- Skyreef beach club: Snorkeling
- Playa San Francisco: Sandy beach to enjoy on your own
- Playa Palancar: Nice infrastructure
- Punta Sur: Gorgeous. The ocean was a little rough, so be cautious getting in
- El Mirador: Viewpoint
- Chen Rio: Fantastic color of the water
- Punta Morena: Sandy beach close to downtown
